Official presidential election results thread - Nov. 8, 2016

No. They lied their asses off about him. Ran phony stories. Altered his words as well.

Was the pussy tape phony? Trump blamed the mic for that. Were they altering his tweets?

Tape was authentic, but they cut it up for maximum damage.

Trump never trashed all Hispanics. He never made fun of the disabled reporter (he was making fun of Cruz). They lied about so much.

I think we'd all agree that Rand would've won easily.

I doubt that since the media would have done the same if not worse than Rand. The Maddow-Rand CRA interview would have been shown in endless rotation and the news media would be equating Rand to being pro colored only water fountains, bathrooms and restaurants. Not to forget they would be trashing Ron in the process with "newly found" /eyeroll newsletters saying they are an entire family of racists.

Been saying the same thing here since 07, the only way in the future for people like the Pauls, Paleocons or Libertarians to win on a national level is if there are major investments made by those same groups into national/local affiliate broadcast affiliates and a news wire service that can rival AP.

If Trump pulls this out, how is MSM going to cover this with so much egg in their face? Any predictions??

It will be another hour or so before they are able to call some of these swing states.

How are they able to call states before 8 PM Pacific Time? I thought the law since around 1980 was that no one can release results until polls close on the west coast. Are they going on exit polls or something?

Still not trusting Ohio's numbers... Dig into the counties and all of the cities, Cleveland, Toledo, Cinci, Columbus, Akron and Youngstown all still under-reporting. By big margins. Things could flip real quick when those numbers start coming in.

I'm pretty sure that the hispanics comment was photoshopped, Trump loves hispanics, when he becomes god emperor today will be national taco tuesday.

The polls were rigged as we said.

I don't know, I still like the theory that they (pollsters) were relying on voting demographics of past elections versus what may be the actual demographics voting today. I saw an article earlier that doesn't give me hope for good data from exit polling though:

Interestingly, one of the most popular responses to exit polling was no response at all, as over 50 people told the Times they did not wish to disclose their vote.

This is the choice of any voter, however when exit polling was done at primaries earlier in the year, almost every voter openly explained who they were voting for.

One voter who declined seemed apologetic, saying, “I can’t say. In any other year, I would.”

Liberal media seems to be continuing their narrative today that Trump cannot win.

Totally disagree. If Trump wins, it is a victory for the alternative media and the Internet. Syndicated news will never be the same. Who is going to continue buying advertisement in syndicated news when they can no longer throw elections and pre-determine who wins?

The next big battle in media will be controlling the Internet.

Where do you see those numbers?

I can't find a good site for detailed coverage.

What counties are left to count? Are they heavily partisan?

Parts of Miami-Dade (small amount percentagewise, but large quantitywise), and about 1/4 of Broward. Very heavily Democrat.

Of course, there are areas all over the map that are likely to go Trump.

I would not call it for Florida... we may not even know until morning.

Trump up in Fla 140k , Broward is in a 75 percent so Dems could only maybe mnfg about another 42 k there
