Why are you telling me this?

Until the committee looks into permits, location, and other logistics for a certain date we won't have a logical choice.

If you want to suggest a date to the Exploratory Committee you can email them. All the information can be found here http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=120538

I wasn't telling you anything. I simply pasted the email I sent to the Exploratory Committee here on the forum as a suggestion with logical reasoning behind it.

The day the United States Constitution was ratified, June 21st

Here's an idea that just makes too much sense.... lets just call what follows as a "stretch your legs and get your voices in shape" pre-event march.

We here in Missouri we are planning a "Constitutional Torch Run" where we will run/walk/bike the US Constitution from one end to the other end of our 225 mile "rails to trails" bike path. The goal is two fold... each community will be responsible for walking a set amount of miles and will hand off the paper Constitution to the next community. We hope to plan entertainment events at more populated segments.

A HUGE chance to educate the public about the Constitution also exists as we will need to publicize the event all over the neighborhood with some well designed fliers and posters. On the posters we plan on being really tricky.... we actually plan to print parts of the Constitution on the fliers. In other words we're not only advertising an event... by golly we are re-educating our apathetic public on what exactly is on that old piece of paper. We might just get a wild hair and also point out where several of our protected "freedoms granted" have been high jacked and are no longer protected.

Here's an additional benefit... if all the meetup groups worked on their own local Constitutional Torch Runs in the early summer, then we'd get the news out all across the land that something big is happening later this summer. We can't honestly expect that the main stream media will be there waiting at our Washington DC march with helicopters and live tv crews seeking to cover our every step.... You can count on it that somewhere that week Britney or Paris will break a nail or stub a toe. When we say we need to raise our voices about this event.... I TELL YOU WE NEED TO MAKE SOME SERIOUS NOISE.... and ahead of time and in advance...!

We are in the early stages of planning, and wish to promote our early summer event as a grass roots "walk for freedom and the Constitution" and that it is open to all local associations and all political campaigns. At the rest locations there will be refreshment, music and of course a debate time set aside before we begin to walk again. This seems to be a grand idea because the Ron Paul folks will be able to get the ball rolling locally and recruit and network attendies to form "van pools" and be ready to hit the road to Washington DC.

Peace and Joy

What the hell are you talking about? I posted the "official" update from the ronpaul2008 website and you're telling me it's not "offical" because I don't work there?

Thank you for accurate information, but I think the guy's point was simply "post a link" - you know, reference your source. Kind of like an adult would do.

Maybe you should read the post instead of offering your childish insinuations. Kind of like an adult would do?

Do YOU work for the campaign? if not then this is NOT official buddy. If you do then post the link to this info FROM ronpaul2008.com then it can be looked at as official.

He is clearly stating that even if I post a link it will not be official because I do not work for the campaign. I'm sorry but that is ridiculous and doesn't change the fact that this is what is posted on ronpaul2008.com, the official site. Besides, it sounds like he took offense more to the title of the thread. Maybe he's one of the ones titling threads official when all they contain are rumour and false info., which is the main point of this thread.
