Official Mid Term Election Thread

Ned lamont may blow it up for the dems in connecticut. Hilarious.

I told you weeks ago, right after the Kavanaugh script played out, which I also nailed, what was going to happen tonight. You doubted me. Tsk tsk. Some people will never learn, it seems.

The delusion runs wild. Hilarious!

Like I said, literally nothing you say is not also being said in numerous threads across this forum and forums across the internet.

The fact that you insist you are so special that only you can see a secret script and make brilliant predictions from it is so far out from reality, there is no way to come back to this plane.

Pssst, it's not a secret script. It's a 2000 year old book. Get a clue, genius.

Still keeping head in the sand, I see. Don't stop believin'!

OTOH, if you still don't buy the script, the GOPers here can thank my friend Jeff Scott for taking enough votes from McCready to put Harris (yuck) in.

That's assuming that the LPers would have voted for the GOP. I don't know why people continue to believe that, but they do.

I know its hard to accept that you are not special, none of us are. You get your news from the same sources most of us do. You think you make amazing predictions when they're just generalized guesses based off what we've all seen since this started in 2007. Its already second nature for most everybody here but somehow you are the chosen one with the "script" LOL!

Now, I'll let you get back to zero hedge and alex jones.

First time in history few Islamic women have just been elected to US Congress:

CNN projects Democrats gain control of House

(CNN)A pair of districts in the Midwest will add Muslim women to the ranks of the US Congress for the first time, CNN has projected.

Michigan Democrat Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar, the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party's nominee, will secure their respective seats in strongly Democratic districts following primary victories earlier this year that effectively decided their races.

That's assuming that the LPers would have voted for the GOP. I don't know why people continue to believe that, but they do.

I know firsthand that Republicans gave no love to the Libertarian candidate in that election. Not an ounce. He had no effect on the GOP vote whatsoever. Dems were much, much more receptive to the Libertarian message because, whether you believe it or not, there are still Dems that still hold the anti-war and civil liberties issues that they (and we?) once embraced in very high regard. GOPers are still Bush loving warmongers like usual. Nothing has changed there, thanks to Trump.

You obviously didn't read my post if that is your honest reply.

a lot of close races. good on the democrats for winning the house, my prediction was inaccurate. The house democrats will attempt to bog down the executive with investigations but probrably won't matter. The senate moves further conservative due to no McCain, no Flake, etc.

We got legislative gridlock boys. Good things still to come from the executive.

GOP establishment has their revenge. Two liberty House members (GOP) replaced by Democrats (and GOP establishment is celebrating).

Gone: Dave Brat, Rod Blum.

Reminder: Mark Sanford was eliminated this year in the Primary.

The senate moves further conservative...
but (much) less Libertarian???

In a close, partisan vote Rand and Mike Lee will have (a lot) less power (??) if the R's gain even a couple of seats.

Iowa's Steve King hangs on to his seat . The only red seat left in Iowa.

Michigan and Utah passed cannabis referendums. North Dakota shot theirs down. Missouri passed one part of their referendum and shot down two other parts. I can't find detailed info on what the various results mean.

Moves further Republican, you mean. Not much conservatism left regardless of party.

It sucks but shouldn't surprise anyone, seeing how even long time RPFers appear (ahem) to be Trumpers now, even though Trump has pretty much nothing in common with libertarians.
