Official Maine Caucus Results thread

Still gonna fight on, but for me, dang this one stings. I was really hoping for a W. The odds seem impossible atm. The fight continues...

We cant fight the establishment. It's a losing battle they will never let us win.

I'm starting to wonder what "RON PAUL WILL NOT BE THE NOMINEE" really means....What are the criteria used to form this opinion, Erick Erickson?

CNN reporter sounds like he was trying to get the state chairman to admit that there might have been enough votes in Washington county to make it very close for Ron Paul to Mitt Romney.

There's no difference than winning Maine by 200 votes, or losing it by 200 votes. It would have been nice to get a win here, but nothing really chances because we didn't.
You sure about that? Doesn't seem like delegates have been given proportionally. Winner usually gets some bonus delegates.

It ain't over yet - only 95% of the vote counted and less than 200 votes separate the two.

People talking about it being rigged need to stfu unless they have proof.

They won't. It's what they always do. They fire off extreme charges, without any real evidence.

Now, I will say that the caucuses that were added.... that was underhanded as hell. I'd be interested to see the results from those locations.

When Trump said "Ron is unelectable, hes a nice guy, but he has 0 chance of winning" maybe he knows something we dont?

This is so obviously rigged. Call me a tin foil hat wearer I dont care. They add 5 new locations at the last minute, then cancel some due to weather. How much you want to bet the ones added were in strong Romney areas, and the ones canceled were where Paul was strong. That change alone could have easily effected the outcome.

This...I'm amazed people think the establishment wasn't there looking for a way to screw us. They even admitted before Iowa they would do what it takes to make Paul lose.

We can't be republicans anymore. They hijacked us a half century ago. We have to take the original republicans and just form another party and call it something else. We will suffer for awhile, but we can start pulling from the false republicans and the dems in the future. That's the only way. Obviously we can't do it on the republican platform anymore. They have been corrupted and moved towards big government, we have to go somewhere else now.

You're overlooking the fact that we just got 36% which is huge. There's a lot of positives from this guys, don't be blind to them from the dissapointment of losing by a couple of hundred votes.
