Official Justin Amash Election Day / Primary Results Thread (update: Justin wins!!!)

Isn't Bentivolio regarded as a traitor of sorts around these parts? Shouldn't we be glad he's losing?

Bentivolio wasn't simply the "lesser of two evils" in this case--there are real dangerous differences. But he does have himself to blame since he killed his own grassroots support from the very beginning.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure Amash is going to win but he needs at least a 15% margin.

I've been considering lately moving to Grand Rapids. Every time i go there I just get the sense that it is a happening place. It has a decent economy, decent crime stats, its clean, and it has a big city feel without being massive and without the ghettos (some bad areas but nothing like detroit/flint). The entire west-side of the state is like that - Petoskey, Boyne City, Traverse City, Grand Rapids. And there are several more smaller towns that are also nice.

If Justin wins again that will only further entice me to move.

Born, raised and still live in G.R. You are correct in all you cite.
