Official H.R. 1207 Cosponsor Thread

301:D

Rep Chu, Judy [CA-32] - 10/6/2009
Rep Pingree, Chellie [ME-1] - 10/6/2009
Rep Sutton, Betty [OH-13] - 10/6/2009
Rep Driehaus, Steve [OH-1] - 10/6/2009

It was a good Tuesday.

Interesting that there is no longer much interest in this thread. This is the single most important current issue with the Revolution and it's success is something no one could have predicted. It is an enormous opportunity.

It seems that each additional cosponsorship should be revving the grassroots to a fever pitch. I am not getting that feeling.

Well now the Dems control the house...

Isn't it interesting how a bill with maybe....say 10 cosponsors.....gets on moving through the process when there's a "Democrat" that's proposed it. But it's Ron Paul's bill and he has the majority of the house on it.

The debates on it were just a couple weeks ago. So what is going on with it?

NEW! NOW UP TO 301 Co-Sponsors:

Judy Chu (D-CA 32)
Chellie Pingree (D-ME 1)
Betty Sutton (D-OH 13)
Steve Driehaus (D-OH 1)

303:)

Rep Spratt, John M., Jr. [SC-5] - 10/13/2009
Rep Higgins, Brian [NY-27] - 10/13/2009

Yes, I've watching this closely to show the hypocrisy and lies in the House of Representatives.

There was some BS bill that was sponsored in Sept 09 and had like 6 co-sponsors and it was passed last week. Some more garbage on spending money.

Simply amazing that the Democats prove they are bought and paid for by the FED/BANKS/WEALTH.

307:)

Rep Ruppersberger, C. A. Dutch [MD-2] - 10/20/2009
Rep Cohen, Steve [TN-9] - 10/22/2009
Rep Hill, Baron P. [IN-9] - 10/22/2009
Rep Ryan, Tim [OH-17] - 10/23/2009

Still no interest in this thread anymore on the forum. It's like nobody cares about the bill. It seems like every new cosponsor should be a big deal. Call their offices and thank them if you can.

308.

Rep Bishop, Sanford D., Jr. [GA-2] - 10/27/2009

Honestly, why is there no interest on the forum in new cosponsors? WTF? We should all be calling their offices with thanks.

317 cosponsors. The cosponsors continue even though 1207 has been attached to 3996.

I am appalled that no one cares about this thread anymore (and it's not my thread)

Let's thanks each of these people:

Does it really matter?
Obama will never sign the bill.
It probably won't even be voted on.

Even if it is passed, do you think the GAO is going to audit it to it's full power?

You have to think they would use force to stop an audit.

Is hope the same as false hope?

Sometimes, I wonder.

let's get the bill passed and see what happens then. one can never predict the future. it's possible to have a public backlash against the fed if the dollar keeps dropping. when that happens, it will be good to have in place all the laws to go after it.

you should be encouraging people to support the audit. why do you even log in into the forums if you think nothing can improve?

I love how I said one thing, and automatically I think we can improve nothing..

I do support people to support the audit.

Boredom really.

Now that it has been tacked on as an amendment to Barney Frank's banking regulations bill, Obama will surely sign it. The GAO will perform the audit when it is legally allowed to. HOWEVER, the Federal Reserve will take this all the way to the Supreme Court to see if a GAO audit is legal. So, realistically, we are about 5 or 6 years away from an audit.
