Official Friday night liquor ticker

Ahh I remember this thread!

I just picked up a Ommegang mixed case today. This is definitely one of my all time favs. And at only $50 a case it's a great alternative to the more expensive Belgian imports.

Cheers to a great debate, top tier in Iowa, awesome Leno interview, Joe Rogan endorsement, and $3,000,000+ in the bank!

I hope you have a designated chaperone to walk home with.

Cheer to under two weeks to go for an Iowa win! Merry Christmas, all!

Cheers to Christmas newborns, digital billboards, Kelly Clarkson, the RPF family, Veterans for Ron Paul, RevPAC's Compassion ad, Jesse and the official staff, and the last Friday before a first in the nation caucus win in Iowa!

Sure I left a few out, add yours. :)

Candy is dandy, but Friday Night Liquor is quicker.

Nice van though.

Gonna pump out some more pups?

I've been dry for a while (saddly)
Not a lot to celebrate,,
But this is looking forward to a Ron Paul Presidency.

:D

It's Friday, and I just cracked open beer #1. I plan to crack open many more and then switch to Crown and Coke. I will be here and will eventually make an ass of myself as usual on Friday nights (and frequently on the other nights of the week as well).

If you'd like to join me, the drinking will be tracked in this thread. Please don't make me drink alone.....that's for alcoholics.;)

Beer before liquor...never been sicker. Liquor before beer...your in the clear.

in my older age I have grown quite fond of gin and tonic....

I said the exact same thing the summer before my Junior year in college.

I picked up a handle of tanqueray at Costco the other day, probably will crack it open tonight.

If I mixing my booze; then I'm getting the bottom shelf stuff. Gordon's cheap ass gin does just fine by me.

I find the higher quality alcohols usually give you a better buzz and less hangover, but cheap is good too so I find a happy medium or really can go either way.

I usually buy this stuff for $10/bottle at Trader Joe's:

But I had the BEST g&t in Vegas a few weeks ago at First Food Bar and Restaurant in the Palazzio.. it was called the Ultimate G&T... Maybe it wasn't the tanqueray, maybe it was the Fever Tree tonic, or maybe it was the rosemary and juniper infused ice sphere, but damn, that thing was DELICIOUS!!

Leave it to the pilot to give advice on which liquor is dangerous.

Have you ever been over the North Atlantic with no land in sight in a single seat fighter so hungover you are still technically drunk?

No, I didn't think so.

You'll be happier with Seagrams. You can even drink Seagrams on the rocks without wincing.

Tonight's after dinner drink is the best value cognac available

the best value is free on the plane after an upgrade to first on a cheap fare :D

That is normally courvoisier VSOP, warm with a coke zero on the side (no ice) the tingly feeling of the coke zero after the cognac is awesome.
