That's what the media is trying to figure out and making everyone's mad. My guess is that if Comey sends this letter to Congress 11 days before the Election, there must be a serious reason to do so. Obama probably green light it.
 
Here is my prediction... you heard it here first! Nothing will get done, Hillary wins the Whitehouse, Republicans will use it as a bitching point for their stump speeches during their mid-term reelections, Republicans will take the House and Senate in 2018, and the beat goes on and on... Hillary will lose in 2020 to some GOP puppet, Bill Clinton dies, Hillary dies, they get a fancy library. Chelsea runs for NY senate to fill her mother's old seat, and then my children will have to put up with Clintons in there lifetime too.

I die fat, old, and ugly and probably broke.

I'm still a bit annoyed that people (like Wikileaks) can just get other people's emails and broadcast them to the world, though. That's a problem.

The problem isn't Wikileaks with e-mail, they can't prosecute......

If they're getting copies what do you think NSA has?

These were from a collection of Govt Files.

Given to wikileaks by a whistle blower. Huge database.
have been releasing them over time to prevent overload,, except for some that are relevant to current events.

the reason there are no Trump files is because he wasn't a Government employee.

Yeah, I know. But we're seeing open celebration by the general public of the very notion of harvesting and broadcasting personal email. As if it's okay. Nothing's going to happen to Clinton because others in power, regardless of some illusion of separation based on an R or a D in front of their names, likely have the same kinds of skeletons in their closets. The only thing I'm seeing happen out of this is the promotion of the idea that harvesting people's private email is acceptable. To the point that it seems like it's expected. And as far as the government is concerned, never let a perfectly good crisis go to waste. Right? Ultimately, I think the people will get precisely what they ask for. Ad few will think it all the way through.

The government has been on the defensive ever since they got bustyed snooping on other nations as well as us. They don't want to stop doing that. Nor will they. But it helps them to justify it when people are programmed that it's expected practice. I look at the whole thing as a problem, reaction, solution kind of deal. I remember telling donnay this a year or so ago just in passing when the Clinton email thing forst came up. And here we are. Hook, line and sinker.

To me the public should have access to all public "servants" data including private information like health records, psych records, salary and property but government should not have access to that information about the citizenry.

There are two classes of people and it's high time the government class got put in their place...
