First, the paramount goal of libertarians IS NOT withdrawing from Iraq & scaling back the patriot act. The paramount goal of libertarians is to advance the cause of Liberty & Freedom.

Second, this article is not about libertarians, but is about CONSERVATIVES and as stated in the 4th paragraph, "celebrated cases of conservatives endorsing Obama, like the blogger Andrew Sullivan" and further down in the next paragraph, "the libertarian wing of the (conservative) movement." These people mentioned are conservatives who take a more libertarian position on SOME issues. But they are not libertarians, they are conservatives

Do you support the Income Tax? Public Education? The Fed & National Bank System? These are all planks of the Communist Manifesto. So this makes you a Communist? Correct?

A libertarian who supported Obama, or McCain, would be a TRAITOR to the Cause and would be disowned by the Movement. They are part of our nation's problem and not part of the solution.

First of all, it's spelled "naivete". Second of all, you do not understand the political spectrum. Total government control is on the far left and a total lack of government (anarchy) is on the far right. Therefore, Communism, Socialism and Nazism are very close together on the left hand side of the spectrum, as they all involve a great deal of government control. Neoconservatism would be on the left hand side too, for the same reason. The type of government our Founders left us, a limited Constitutional Republic is located to the right of center, as would be traditional conservatism.

I would refer you to the Nolan Political Diamond Chart. The Right Side point of the diamond, represents economic freedom but low social freedom - Conservatives. The Left Side point of the diamond represents higher social freedoms bur lower economic freedom - liberals. The bottom point of the diamond represents the totalitarians - communists, fascists, etc. The top point of the diamond represents maximum social freedom and maximum economic freedom. Right in the middle of the diamond are the people who have no firm political beliefs, but take a little from the others - the independents.

You can call yourself anything you please. You can vote for anyone you please. But that doesn't make you a libertarian. Libertarians are part of a philosophy and a movement. And without any one person dictating to the others, the movement as a whole coalesces around the philosophy. You sound like a troll. Back in the 18th century, liberal essentially meant the same as libertarian today. But the left wing democrats co-opted the word for their political movement. Classical liberals became known as Libertarians. Now you seem to want to co-opt libertarian to a starkly different meaning. We might be called, then, laissez-faire.

The single strength that makes us stand head and shoulders above all others is our unwavering support for freedom and liberty, in their unadulterated classical meaning.

I believe you have missed the big picture which has nothing to do with guilt by association.

Aside from the obvious brainwashing of our nation’s younger generation which takes place in government schools, there is another reason for the Washington Establishment wanting control over public school systems established under state constitutions, and its all about the Benjamins!

The federal Department of Education has approximately 5000 federal political plum job employees with excessive salaries, top of the shelf medical plans, and an outrageous pension program, all of which Mary and Joe Sixpack living in Idaho can only dream of having but will continue to be taxed to finance if Obama is elected.


In return for their excessive salaries and benefits, this 5000 member army comes together during federal election time to volunteer for and support those candidates that will work to increase an absolute federal power over our nation's younger generation via public school systems. In addition to salary, here are other federal employee ``benefits`` which Mary and Joe will be gouged to finance:


Life insurance plan___ Mary and Joe Sixpack get to pay 1/3 of a government workers federal life insurance plan.


Federal Employees Dental & Vision Program is a full coverage plan and federal employees get to use pre-tax dollars to pay for their vision and dental premiums while Mary and Joe are forced to use after taxed dollars to fund their Dental & Vision plan.


Under the federal employee retirement system, there is a tax-deferred savings plan known as the ``Thrift Savings Plan``. Under this plan, federal workers may contribute up to 10% of their salaries to the plan, with Mary and Joe Sixpack being taxed to match up to 5% of a federal employee`s contribution.

As I have correctly stated so many times, Black working people who support Obama are absolutely correct when they say, as a general statement, “its all about the Benjamins”. But they seem to be easily conned into surrendering the “Benjamins“ they earn to "agents of change" who merely seek to change the faces of those holding political plum jobs within the inner circle of the Washington Establishment. Do black voters not realize they will be betrayed by Obama's "agents of change and remain tax slaves ___ useful to feed political plum job holders on our federal plantation?
