Obamacare Debate Live on CSPAN

Wow. They vote for Healthcare, now they are voting for the Battle of Iwo Jima's 65th anniversary.

What a joke. Business as usual.

So Rep Deal just resigned on the floor! Wow! I guess he wants to get the hell out of dodge before TSHTF. He did say earlier he was going to run for Governor of Georgia.

You know after listening to this all day only one thing is apparent.

If there is such descension over this bill then it should not even be considered. Any bill passed should have an overwhelming or unanimous consent.

This disregards the magical powers of a 51% majority.

I still believe in God. I wish this horrible bill hadn't passed and it seems like the bad guys are winning but they will lose in the end.

"Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.
For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.
Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.
Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.
For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.
For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.
But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth.
The LORD shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming.
The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation.
Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken." Psalm 37: 1-15

Thanks.

This was rigged as far as I'm concerned, Obama acted in an illegal manner to buy votes at the last minute. The executive order got the gentleman from Michigan to change his vote (now we're down to 218), and I'm fairly sure there were a few others (now we're below the level required to pass), but sadly, Obama did do what he did.

Either way, Kuccinich definitely played his part as well, and also helped push it over and out, showing what he truly is, and what I've had against him all along, a socialist hack.

And now those unemployed people think they have health care. Unfortunately, our situation here is much like being anti-war in 2003. Get ready to understand what it feels like to be totally ineffective.

I hope you understand that I was referring to those in congress who voted for this bill as being unemployed next year. They know they have health care and from what I understand, they can keep it even if they don't have their jobs next year.

as well as their extremely lucrative pension plans.

Well, now the reality will set in for all the Americans that support it when they realize they will be mandated to buy health insurance, have to pay for it, and the plans won't go into effect until 2014.

I am so sick of people quoting Ronald Reagan in support of this bill. Ronald Reagan was against socialized health care.

Y'know, I been watching you for a while now, and I just want it on the record that I really don't trust you. I hope you prove me wrong, I really do. But from what I've seen I don't trust you a bit. You only ever have negative things to say about our effort. Oh it's so hopeless. Why bother. Nothing good can come of it. Seriously, I sincerely hope you prove me wrong, but I do want it on the record that I really just don't trust you. I understand the power of disillusionment and apathy, which is why I am taking such pains to acknowledge that I could be wrong, but from where I sit you look like an antagonist. I will be far more pleased if I am wrong than if I am right.
