Obama won with 1 word "Change" What is Paul's word/phrase that we can ALL rally behind?

YOU!

Because it is all about YOU!.
YOUR freedom, YOUR prosperity, YOUR happiness!

Not like all other politicians who are ME, ME, ME

The one word that'll strike fear in his opponents, and his supporters can chant and rally behind:

PAUL!

I'm on the side of slogans are not magic words that win elections.

Still, I will point out that in the letter that Carol wrote a ways back, she talked a lot about Ron Paul delivers. He delivered milk. He delivered babies. He delivered for the people he represented. etc etc etc.

That said, with Cain's $9.99 pizza slogan ... "Ron Paul delivers" may open the door for more humor than serious discussion.

Me likey.

And yeah, I think we're all in agreement that a word isn't going to win this election, but having a clear message and phrases and words that can go viral are incredibly important. Just look at 999...it's garbage in what it actually is, and I'm sure most people couldn't even explain what it means or that it refers to taxes, but it's been easy to grab onto for people.

Some ideas:

Integrity
(This is a quality none of the other candidates have.)

Peace and Prosperity

The $1 Trillion Man

The $1 Trillion Doctor

"The Trillion Dollar Man" is actually pretty cute. I don't know that it would stick though.

It's not single word, but perhaps something like:

We don't just need Change. We need Results.

Who says it has to be one word? I stand by

Peace Truth and Freedom. I mean, where else are we gonna get that?

Unfortunately to the brain dead in this country - yes he does.

Yeah, but not so much packaged as explained. All the words that describe him best are so abused you have to explain how they apply. 'Representative', 'Republican', and 'Populist' all describe who he represents (and who Dr. No does not represent), but they're all overused (and in the most inappropriate places). Honesty and integrity aren't strong enough any more to truly describe his twenty-three year voting record. Hell, 'Change' and 'Hope' are so recently abused that they've lost their power just over the last four years.

One word? He doesn't need packaged because he's the complete package. What's needed is voter education. They need to be able to differentiate real hope from false hope.

How about Illegitimi non carborundum

Goldwater used to say it, but we could bring it back

You know, if I had to select only one word, it would be 'Enterprise'. And not because I'm a Trekkie.

He's enterprising. We're enterprising. He wants to end the corporatism that is trying to squelch our entrepreneurial spirit. He believes enterprise can solve our problems better than government can.

Enterprise. Yeah, it takes no small amount of explaining, too. But in this economy, it might just get us the attention we need.
