Obama Wins Nobel Peace Prize?

Last time I checked "goyisha" is an offensive word. Why did you use it?

And nobody cares what the Jews call it. This is America, not Israel. We call it The Wailing Wall. Live with it.

I had no clue you've been elected the representative of all non-Jews on this site. Suggestion: Speak for yourself. YumYum knows Yiddish, so YumYum knows better. Right YumYum? The term goy, goyim and goyisha are descriptive terms, not necessarily offensive. Context is everything.

I will post what I choose to post and you can live with that. You are one of the last people that has the moral capital to call people on perceived insults...just judging by your participation in my threads.

Miriam-Webster

Main Entry: goy
Pronunciation: \ˈgȯi\
Function: noun
Inflected Form(s): plural goy·im \ˈgȯi-əm\ also goys
Etymology: Yiddish, from Hebrew gōy people, nation
Date: 1841

sometimes disparaging : gentile 1

— goy·ish \ˈgȯi-ish\ adjective, sometimes disparaging

The point is, the term "Wailing Wall" is not a term used by Jews when referring to the Kosel. BTW, the term "Jew" can and often is used by goyim in an offensive manner. I don't call people on it though. It's their decision.

Okay. I've read all the posts, and now feel I'm in a position to reply to the thread topic.

Godless Euroweenies Award Nobel to The Chosen One, but is Barack Obama Really Jesus Christ? - by Andrew Klavan

You'll have to register at PJ TV to watch it. Easy and private. He's always a stitch.

None of your threads even belong anywhere in this forum. They have nothing to do with getting conservative Republicans elected, because our definition of conservative would cut off funding and arms to Israel. You don't support our cause. You're only here to distract from it.

And goyisha is indeed an offensive term. Just because you decided that it's only offensive if you say it's offensive doesn't mean it isn't offensive.

PajamasTV - a neocon site. Go figure. Sorry but most of us have no interest in watching what genocidal maniacs find humorous.

ANd make no mistake - I mean my insults. I don't try to weasel out of them.

I have stated repeatedly that I would like to see all foreign aid to every single country stopped forthwith. I have also stated that American troops do not belong overseas and need to come home. Try reading my posts sometime instead of skimming them for whatever happens to annoy you on any given day.

You're only here to distract from it.

Whatever.

I'm here to post my views on what will keep America free, which includes, but is not limited to, exposing certain lies. No Jew with any self-respect is going to let the sort of boloney go by unanswered.

Those who are here to post their disinformation re Israel/Zionists/Jews/Judaism etc are persistent, and will not let a thread which contradicts their worldview die unless they have the last word. So, as long as I choose to remain on this forum, or if I am banned, I will outlast them, even if I have to repeat my words over and over again, just as they repeat their same, tired old lies over and over again. It's getting to where all I have to do is copy and paste my previous posts, as the same vomitus from said members continues recirculating, as if that is going to make their lies suddenly become the truth.

Being distracted by idiotic conspiracy theories, claiming that .02% of the world's population is somehow out to control the world, and especially the US, which is an almost exact replica of the lies perpetrated by Goebells and Der Sturmer, is not going to make America free. Being lied to and believe the lie is another set of chains.

Are you saying that the only perspective on foreign aid, the only perspective on the Middle East allowed here is one which pins the blame on the Zionists and/or Jews?? I doubt Dr. Ron Paul holds those views. I think maybe you've misunderstood him, because he had quite the approval rating among Israelis, especially the conservative ones at such news sites as Israel National News. Dr. Paul understands the concept of national sovereignty. Discontinuing foreign aid to Israel, as long as it is also discontinued for Israel's enemies at the same time, would enhance Israel's sovereignty not detract from it.

The garbage you and others who would like to convince us of, that the entire problem vis-a-vis the Middle East in due to the "Zionists" is the distraction. I am shining a light on it.

So, be offended. I posted the Miriam-Webster definition, which states it can be used as a pejorative -- but is not necessarily used thus. Take it up with them. Like I said, context is everything. Using the term "Wailing Wall" is offensive to Jews, although in all fairness, YumYum's very funny post would not have been funny had she used the more correct term "Wailing Wall." "Goy" simply means "nation" in Hebrew.

PajamasTV - a neocon site.

And most Jews understand that often, but not always, folks who use the term "neocon" really means "Jew" and that when used, the term is often antisemitic. When used pejoratively, it is obvious, yet I overlook the offense all the time. In fact, I don't think I've ever called anyone on it. What matters to me more is the content of the post. I'm not going to try and read someone's mind.

One needs to develop a thick skin when posting on a forum, especially a political forum. Try it sometime.

Go figure. Sorry but most of us have no interest in watching what genocidal maniacs find humorous.

There you go, attempting to pretend that this forum elected you as representative. I don't think so.

ANd make no mistake - I mean my insults. I don't try to weasel out of them.

If I choose to insult you, you'll know it. However, there is no need for me to do the insulting.

Oh jeez. Now are we going to get into a 30 post debate on the term "neocon"??

I qualified my claim that "neocon" can sometimes be used in an antisemitic manner.

Since it's often used by non-Jews who don't have an antisemitic bone in their body, I don't call people on it and usually assume the best, as long as the content of the post doesn't reveal otherwise. Even then, I don't call anyone on it, ever. I respond to the points in the post. But it is a favorite of antisemites who don't want to expose themselves as such. It's usually a simple matter to decipher.

I was making a point that if one is going to be thin skinned, and accuse someone of being insulting based on a term that is ambiguous at best, that type of distraction strategy can cut both ways.

Below I've linked an article which backs my position, namely, that within a certain context, the term "neocon" can be and is used as an antisemtic slur, just as the term "Jew" or "goy" can also be used pejoratively, but not necessarily so. Are we going to have to completely remake the American lexicon to protect the thin-skinned???

If I decide to insult someone, it will be by poking fun at their inane arguments, not name calling. Thus, if I use the term "goy", "goyim" or "goyisha", I am not using that term in a pejorative sense. Trust me on that or not. Your choice.

I recommend you read the entire article I've linked. However in the interest of time and convenience...I've posted the most salient portion. It's good to understand the history of the term though. You will only get that from doing a bit of research. This article is a good beginning.

So, what is a 'neocon'?

"Paul Gigot: No. Unlike a lot of the people on the left, I'm not going to question the motives of people who use the phrase. I think a lot of people just use it as a short-term shortcut for anyone who supported the war. But in the mouth of some people, there is an anti-Semitic overtone. I would point to recent remarks by (Sen.) Fritz Hollings. He clearly was attempting to link support for the war to Jews who also support Israel -- and I think that's a slur.

George Will: It's not necessarily anti-Semitic. There is often an anti-Semitic twist to it, yes."

To be fair, WaPo and NYT were not given awards after fake Iraq WMD stories but they won other awards recently:
