Because it would be an extreme waste of tax payer money to revisit the Moon when we have already been. There is no life, oxygen, etc. so what the fuck is the point of going back?

Nobody really cared about the Moon anyway and it was more of a publicity stunt to show that our space program was better than the Soviets.

If you have not noticed not a single country has the moon as a target for their space program.The Soviets had a number of unmanned missions to the Moon.If they had any evidence that you staged the landing they would have said something.

That's a pretty naive thing to say. And it certainly doesn't qualify as evidence to use one way or the other.

Syria is about the size of the State of Washington. The United States should be able to kick their asses in just a few days. After all, we do have the most powerful military the world has ever known.

It's the aftermath. Hundreds of thousands people end up dying. It leads to more violence. And it costs a lot of cash too. The resultant regime is often worse.
