Generally, Obama winning is best simply because the Republican Party, if there is a net loss of seats in Congress(which I believe there will be), will result in a GOP even more open than it was at the beginning of this presidential election cycle(with the gang of 11).

However, you do not have to vote for Obama. Instead, vote third party. Either way, it is a vote that is not for McCain, and you can feel good about it. LP nominee or Baldwin, you still are voting against McCain. And Obama at the same time!
