Obama Tells The Truth About Healthcare.

I honestly don't care if it is public insurance or private insurance... the "insurance" part is what still irks me. Go back to the cash-pay no-insurance way health care was done before Nixon. I personally have no health insurance entirely by choice and object to the implication that I should be forced to have it.

The same sort of mandated insurance was imposed upon for autos and there still are people who drive without insurance. They make this out like all will be covered and SHOULD be regardless. Never mind the fact that the government has no business being in the healthcare business, education business, auto industry, AIG Insurance, Freddie Mae, Freddie Mac, etc... when does this crap end?

Wait I think I know the answer to that...and it's not pretty.

He need high deductible insurance policies with dollar for dollar tax credits to afford premiums & HSAs that are completely free of taxation. That will inject some capitalism into health care, create greater health freedom, will be cheaper & will reform health care & eventually fizzle out Medicare.

Why not just make all health care tax deductible? And go even further, let people cover more than just their own families and deduct that too. The top 1% pay more taxes than the bottom 95%... that means every 1 person in the 1% pays for about 100 people below them. Let that person pay for 100 peoples' health care and pay no taxes :)

The best part about this idea is that it already happens. Rich people and rich groups pay for hospitals and health care all the time. Churches, Shriners, philanthropists... they all give massive money to hospitals. What is wrong with a system like that? It worked for a very long time.

And for the record, health care doesn't need capitalism injected into it. It needs the middle men taken out from it. It's a wholly corrupt and government supported system as it is and the individual AND the doctor are the ones getting screwed.

Notice I never said anything about paying for insurance... and that is the problem already, but nobody is talking about that. Guess there were just too many campaign donations there.
