In a thread somone brought up the fact that Obama voted for the partiot act and continues to vote to fund the war.

It's turned into an attack on Ron Paul supporters referred to as "paultards" by an obama supporter who claims to be a constitutional lawyer, and claims Ron Paul knows nothing at all about the constitution.

Get in there! Ron Paul supporters unite!

I am in the big RP facebook group and we are constantly trolled by one certain Obama supporter- who won't post in the group if I am there bc I counter all of his arguments and prove a lot of his "facts" wrong. There are also Romney bots- I say bots bc they just repeatedly post the same thing (often with spelling and grammar errors) and don't have human responses to any argument made back.

It's funny but we are a group of well educated college and post-college students and we are often debating with other candidates' supporters.

I'm in both the "I'm a fan of Ron Paul" and Congressman Ron Paul for President 2008 group. I assume you're talking about the second one, and yes we are constantly spammed by Romney and Obama Bots, or supporters!

When I posted about the money bomb the thread was bombarded by Obama, and Romney bots. The funny thing is facebook never suspends them! It's nice to know Paul supporters are fighting back.

*sighs* I fight in the trenches on Digg every day in an attempt to combat the pure mindlessness of some Obama supporters. They call us drones and robots and whatever but good lord the self-delusion of some of these people is astounding. When presented with facts or reason they just resort to namecalling or, the best, "he can never win." It is tiresome. Very tiresome.

Obama is obviously the Web 2.0 candidate. That is style over substance. Anybody who has used the internet longer than 10 years will know what I'm talking about.

My only hope is that the majority of these people aren't old enough to vote, and those that are are too busy being aloof to register to vote.

The scary thing is most of the Obama supporters can't even tell you his stances on the issues. When someone asks them why he supports the patriot act or votes to fund the war they can't and won't answer.

It's almost like they follow him because it's the "cool thing" to do.

That is deeply distressing. Completely bought by slogans and free campaign signs. Being outside of America and not American, there's always part of me that wants to see the fools punished for their idiocy. If it was just them it would be fine, huh?

Nice work Curlz! Now there saying that any democrat would have to be crazy to vote for paul *rolls eyes*

I snuck this onto the front page of digg 2 days ago and it went SUPERNOVA...

The bury brigade were too late....they couldn't detect it was anti-Obama in time

and I got a good response!!!

Real Id, Patriot Act, Funding for war, nuclear strike on Iran, obama supports it all. His followers are oblivious to it. The media has never once made it clear that he keeps voting for the war, stealing Ron's anti-war vote in the process. Fox portrays him as a hero. That's the msm for you.

You guys do realize that the election will not be held on the internet, right?

True that the internet is not the only way but it is helpful. I first learned about Ron Paul on the internet.

I now tell others about Ron, donate, am a precinct leader, and voted for him, all because somebody went out of there way to put info of him on the internet. I'm yet to have somebody knock on my house and tell me about Ron, so if it wasn't for the internet those things wouldn't even be possible.

But you are on to something we need people talking face to face as well. My meetup group used your idea and hit a nursing home last week. We actually got a lot of support. Sure some of them slept thru the presentation but that was just Mccain and his wife:D

I become a Paul supporter thanks to somebody working hard to share his views on the internet, but a knock on my door would have worked just as well. The point is if we're going to win we need to reach people both on the internet and off it.

Here are your talking points, if you need more just ask me..

I have someone on my contacts that has all the dirt on Obama

"Obama fans need a reality check

According the NY Times, he has missed 70% of Senate votes & the votes he actually bothered to show up for were marked present.. His sixth and seventh important acts as a senator were to vote for a bill that made it nearly impossible for ordinary people to sue giant corporations who rob & defraud. He voted for President Bush's energy bill, sending more than $13 billion in subsidies and tax breaks to oil, coal, and nuclear companies. He voted to allow credit card companies to raise interest rates over 30 percent. He spoke out against the Patriot Act, only to vote in favor of reauthorizing it, he cannot commit to have all troops out of Iraq by 2013, supported Bush's sanctions against Iran and co-sponsored a bill designating the Iranian National Guard a terrorists organization, he implied he'd invade Pakistan, he favors amnesty for illegal immigrants, he is for entitlement programs that will increase the deficit leaving the burden on taxpayers.. He has no consistency on the issues of social security and taxes, in the very beginning he was for raising the cap, then having all options on the table, then appointing a bipartisan commission, now he's back to raising the cap.. he also accepts money from lobbyists & PAC's while claiming he doesn't."

POst this in face book immediatly
