'Obama ready to give Iran strike order' says Senator Joe Lieberman

Theoretically, yes, Obama could order a strike but is he "ready to do so" as the headline suggests? From Lieberman himself:

"I don't know that the president will order a strike on Iran's nuclear facilities even if the sanctions don't work

i'm f#cking tired of war. i'd be surprised if, as Ron says, Americans aren't against this pending war. most republicans are humans as well (Lieberman is not). some say it won't work, but we need to appeal to the humans and our natural preference for peace and commerce over war and embargo.

there's only one pro-peace guy. one pro-human guy out there. there's got to be a way to appeal to folks that yearn for this.

I thought Lieberman was dead. He looks it anyway. I think we should drop him over Tehran and let them deal with the old kook, that would be punishment enough for daring to tell Israel to go pound sand.
