Obama promises to defend Israel from Nuclear Attack

I don't know alotta American's think a country that can't even set up a nuclear power plant, is a potential threat to Israel in terms of a nuclear strike.

Its certainly less likely than one that has over 180 nuclear weapons doing so
 
Obama knows who runs the show around these parts. You simply don't get elected without pandering to Israel.
 
Israel needs defending obviously, even though it already has a very strong, advanced military and the country has some of the best defense technology in the world. (Sarcastic about defending Israel and getting involved in regional politics)

It's not entirely our fault, they had alotta support from various European countries too that have had traditionally supported jewish civil liberties and struggles *extreme sarcasm*.
 
Here President Obama tells us EXACTLY what he plans on doing for Israel!

Sure, but that was between the USA and the USSR. This is between Israel and Iran, and the last time I checked, Israel was not the 51st state. This is just one more pro-Israeli policy to add to the list of "Reasons why the Middle East hates the US and why our leaders expose us to terrorism." If we promised the same thing on Iran's behalf, we'd still be getting involved in matters that are absolutely none of our business (at cost to us, tangible and intangible), but at least we wouldn't be arbitrarily picking friends and enemies and letting everyone know where they stand with us. :rolleyes:

George Bush, who I believe is a despicable human, made a surprise visit to Iraq and Afghanistan. He didn’t go only to show off his Christmas greatcoat, no siree. He also assured Afghanistan in no uncertain terms that, in the same way that Afghanistan could count on his Administration, Afghanistan can count on the next Administration.

Pray tell, how can the outgoing CEO make commitments on his replacement’s behalf? That would nullify the purpose of voting in a new executive gang, would it not? And THIS replacement is not shy about associating himself with the word-not-to-say-the-action Change. Are we to understand that Mr. Change is really just a case of the same Powers That Be pulling the strings of a different marionette?

Then — heresy of all heresies, questioning the premise — WHY can Afghanistan count on the United States? When I’m in a bind, like now, I NEVER look to Afghanistan for assistance or support and Afghanistan never fails to disappoint by not offering any assistance or support.

Me, I’m for reviewing ALL our alliances. It’s a dog eat dog, quid pro quo world. What have the recipients of all our foreign aid done for us lately . . . besides hoot and holler for Obama and thereby scare the bejeezus out of an already timid electorate?

But first I’m for reviewing all of Obama’s alliances — from affiliation by birth, forward. You know why? This bullshit about him being unaware of corruption in Chicago politics is exactly that, bullshit. Just like it was bullshit about him being unaware of Jeremiah Wright’s incendiary remarks. Something is rotten in the District of Columbia and I, for one, have no intention of recognizing and submitting to another usurper Administration.

Barack Obama is going to get an earful on AIPAC from me, the more publicly if he sticks with Rahm Emanuel at Chief of Staff and Hillary Clinton at Secretary of State.

It's like I told AT&T -- not even two hours before the old Bill Maher Board went down, no doubt coincidentally -- we can do this the hard way or we can do this the easy way, but we're doin' it.
