Trump would be smart to get Rand as his VP...but somehow I don't see Rand going for it.

Rand would bring nothing to the table in terms of helping Trump get elected and Trump would be losing an irreplaceable ally in the Senate for pushing through his foreign policy and trade positions. It would be an idiotic decision for Trump, and equally idiotic for Rand since Senator is a far more powerful position than Vice President.

Exactly, although I think a Trump advisor said that Trump would basically be outsourcing his job to the VP. Then again, his advisors have been saying all kinds of things lately.
