Exactly. It is the politically smart thing to do. Whereas Trump would go out there and tell his crowd to beat the hell out of them.

Yep, went to school with a massive number of them at a state university for 4 1/2 years, and saw first hand how they behaved when a Republican came to speak on campus. But even if I wasn't speaking from experience, I'd still generalize about people here because it's kinda funny to hear people whine about collectivist thinking, it's almost like listening to parents admonish their kids about the boogeyman.

P.S. - What's with all the "Libertarians" siding with Obama lately?

Depends on what you mean by "Libertarians"....that word can, apparently, describe anyone who wants to claim it and no one bats an eye. I rarely side with Obama, but I'll give him props if/when he gets something right.

I'm not "whining" about collectivist thinking, but I'm an individual who isn't easily categorized. I believe that's true of all people.
