With their usual swiftness, leftists on Twitter quickly launched a seemingly coordinated effort to blame Fox News and Tucker Carlson for allegedly radicalizing the suspect.

As word of the shooting quickly spread on social media, so did reports that the shooter had posted a 180-page manifesto online, explaining his racist and anti-Semitic motives and detailing how he planned to carry out the attack. PJ Media obtained a copy of the manifesto, and while we cannot independently verify its authenticity, it is widely believed to be genuine, and some left-wing operatives are intent on claiming that the manifesto proves the shooter was radicalized by Fox News and right-wing politics. I’ll show you want the manifesto actually says (though I will not link to it).

First, despite the coordinated effort to blame Fox News, the manifesto attacks a number of news networks, including Fox, for hiring Jews.

A search of the entire manifesto also yields no mentions of Tucker Carlson and specifically mentions “the internet” as where he got his beliefs.



So, the shooter describes himself as “authoritarian left-wing,” but the left and S.E. Cupp are trying to blame “right-wing extremism.” Okay?

This reads like a farce or satire or caricature. Something a leftist would write to emulate a racist. Many contradictions and delusions. I was interested in verifying what the news reports have said about his manifesto being anti-Asian. All I saw after a search was a very brief paragraph praising “east Asians”.

When I refer to East Asians, I refer to those of Japanese, Korean, and Eastern Chinese descent. I think that East Asians are quite admirable. The average East Asian tends to perform better in academics than the average White, which of course leads to more skilled and higher-paying jobs. This is all due to superior traditional values and genetics.

So the media is lying about it being anti-Asian. Typical. They constantly push the insinuation and inference that anti-Asian hate crime is caused by white supremacists, when every Asian knows that is not true. The media are responsible for division and hate more than any other group.

I didn't read all of the nonsense in his "manifesto", but judging by the beginning, and the length and effort he put into it, he was mentally ill and delusional, and he was emulating other shooters who had written "manifestos". He was praising other shooters as influences. And seeing as the people he was emulating were a bunch of deranged losers, whose actions never touched off the vast race war that he supposedly wanted to start, the guy is insane. There is no rational reason for him to believe that his actions would be anything more than murder. He just wanted the fame (infamy) that would result. This is nothing new. Didn't Charles Manson have the same motivation for his killing sprees?

Which once again leads back to media coverage. The media obsesses and over-covers these shooters when they fit into the leftist political agenda, and thus inspire more lone crazed people to do the same. It's well known that many of these shooters track body count as if it's a game they are trying to win.
