twisted story to NYTIMES spin. Phrases Ron's comments on wikileaks in the manner most likely to be misunderstood by conservatives etc. and claiming he 'applauded' the organization, rather than that he stood up for free speech against a witch hunt. Undermining Ron before he takes his committee? Ostensibly 'gee, he is growing to be more powerful' but in a damning with faint praise (and that alone in a room picture.)
Twits.
Not entirely horrible, but it tries to marginalize Austrian economics as 'magical thinking' etc. That sort of thing.

On the personal front, he and Rand will be rooming together, at least initially, apparently.
Someone in a tv interview with both of them recently suggested Ron pull out the hidabed because Rand was coming to town, and Ron said "I told him as long as he doesn't expect me to cook!" Rand looked like he was trying not to laugh while completely keeping his thoughts to himself. Perhaps Ron isn't the greatest cook in the world....

sorry, when I wanted to go to page two I had to register. They keep writing about him through detractors' eyes, characterizing his knowledge of monetary policy by an ex Fed governor who is happy to chime that he doesn't think Ron 'knows what the central bank does', for example... right.
And tries to divide ALL branches of his support from eachother, including from Rand supporters by saying gratuitously that he doesn't want to 'cede the spotlight yet', which is utter nonsense:
I had to sign terms of service, and I'm not going to copy it here. Hopefully it will be reprinted in a more user friendly fashion, for those who don't like to register.

He has been called the “intellectual godfather of the Tea Party,” but he also is the real father of the Tea Party movement’s most high-profile winner, Senator-elect Rand Paul of Kentucky. (The two will be roommates in Ron Paul’s Virginia condominium. “I told him as long as he didn’t expect me to cook,” the elder Mr. Paul said. “I’m not going to take care of him the way his mother did.”)

"On Web sites for Ron Paul fans, there are urgent pleas for a father-son (or son-father) “Paul/Paul 2012” ticket. But in an interview, the senior Mr. Paul seemed taken by surprise by the suggestion of teaming up. While he is bursting-proud of his son, he is not necessarily ready to yield the spotlight: He is pondering another presidential run on his own.
“I’d say it’s at least 50-50 that I’ll run again,” he said, adding that he would look at where the economy is. (Aides add that it would depend a lot on what his wife, Carol, says.) "
