"As the world gets richer, demand will rise for the sorts of products Americans are great at providing - emotional experiences.

Educated Americans grow up in a culture of moral materialism; they have their sensibilities honed by complicated shows like "The Sopranos," "The Wire" and "Mad Men," and they go on to create companies like Apple, with identities coated in moral and psychological meaning, which affluent consumers crave."

Umm, Apple was founded years before any those shows saw the light of day.

<<<<Taps head...are my eyes working right...the fuck??

NY TIMES: Welcome to Servitude!

BTW, GM has sold more vehicles in China this year than in the US... point to ponder upon.

This is guy is saying that americans will be working so other countries can enjoy their production, but in a way that sounds like a great deal to americans right?

I mean, that is the responsable option, but I never though it could be sold out in such a good sounding way. :-P

The NY TIMES has gone from being in denial, to completely delusional.

Don't miss tomorrow's editorial! Explained: How Obama and his rainbow machine will lead us tu dee Lucky Charms!

I think as the world gets richer, they will consume more of what they produce, it is not a garauntee that Americans will be producing these products.

Lol

As the dollar collapses, foreign money is going to pour in and buy natural resources, food, land, and highly skilled labor (engineers, doctors, machinists, welders, etc.). This will be fine for those who have those things to sell. The rest of us will be screwed because foreign demand (including the return of our inflated dollars) will drive up the prices so we will not be able to afford them.

Selling the American Dream

Yes, it produces some little pieces of cellulose with symbols printed in green ink. :D

Don't forget we still make a lot of adult movies.

Is there a porn ETF that I can invest in, to get exposure (cough) to Vivid, etc? :p

America still produces things?

PRODUCE? We lost 60,000 Manufacturing/Producing jobs last month. But Uncle Sugar says 100,000 temporary government and 60,000 part time jobs were created so it's all better now in the Fascist state!

Yeah manipulating those numbers...

"If you can't Create the Jobs... Then, Create the Numbers!"

HOLLYWOOD

PS: The New York Times and Washington Post are your Daily Government PRAVDA Propaganda.
