NPR on Ron Paul this morning

I listened to the local radio the other day when Mario Solis-Marich - AM 760 completely dissed the Tea Party and he never mentioned Ron Paul's name. So I called the station and said, "Mario doesn't seem to know that Ron Paul is running for president." "Does he know it because I don't want him to sound stupid to his audience." The guy was like, "yeah... yeah... good bye."

I heard that this morning on the way into work. I was super disappointed at how dismissive it was. Every adjective was chosen to make Ron sound non-viable.

I didn't hear the broadcast, so I won't address it specifically. However, if there is going to be a death knell to the Paul candidacy, it will be this meme that he can't win and is unelectable. As a weapon against us, nothing else comes close. No mater how many kind words are gratuitously offered, that meme alone will cause untold damage and cost Paul millions in financial support.

Any individual, organization or media outlet that fosters and perpetuates that meme must be viewed as a detriment to the Paul candidacy and an enemy of our cause.
