Hi all,
I know things have settled down a bit here since the election, but I wanted to make sure everyone knew about upcoming elections to fill essential seats in the GOP. Every state is different, but here in Colorado the individual counties will have elections this months to fill seats that can vote in the State Central Committee (SCC, next month). At the SCC, we can vote on state party chairman, etc. And not all seats are permanent, either - some are essentially just delegates to the SCC, with no further responsibility.
If you are a member of the GOP, please find out what your local structure is and how you can influence it. The off years are when we can have a lot of influence and make the playing field (at least a little) more fair for next time. And right now, many, many people are depressed about the November outcome and some of the establishment grassroots are becoming very discouraged. Now is the time to act.
This is how we can take back more states. Maybe not on the scale of Iowa, but we can certainly move our R3volution forward a great deal.
