Now I understand WHY Ron Paul repeats the same answers in debate after debate

At first I just thought he wasn't creative when it came to debate talk. I would become mildly irritated when watching a new debate only to hear him say practically the same thing he had in previous debates. I'd say to myself, "Somebody hire this guy a speech writer". I thought maybe the budget of a grassroots supported candidate only afforded him to use one speech over and over again. Well this morning I just came to the realization WHY.

Many of us heard his message loud and clear the first time he spoke. His words resonated with us and we immediately felt a calling to step up for him. Consider us the first wave of the Revolution. For the past few months he has been speaking to the rest of the population, the still dormant second wave of the Revolution. His repeated phrasing is intentional and designed to awaken a public that was not yet prepared to accept his message when we first heard it. He has used each of his appearances on television or interviews on radio to essentially repeat the same message.

Well it's only a matter of time before the rest of America comes around. I feel a great awakening is coming. A surge of new support is on the horizon. Prepare for the second wave of the Ron Paul Revolution!!!

Pretty soon people start saying the same thing as the doctor. Then you have cultural engineering at work, spreading from one mind to another.
Eventually it becomes a meme, a carrier of the anti-bodies needed to cure a cultural disease.

rp's message to the sheep: the dollar and our economy are collapsing because of this war and global empire

vs.
hucks- christian leader/fair tax/abolish the irs
romney- businessman i know how to make jobs
mccain- war hero/veteran against the "radical islamic extremists" my friends

I think this is obvious.

And it's working...

Open public discussion is MUCH easier today than it was 6 months ago. 3 months ago. Last month.

People are waking up - and while they may be rubbing their eyes, they at least have them open to see what you're trying to share.

There are those that won't wake up.
There are those that are still struggling to shed the fear of freedom and join us in our cause.

But it is MUCH MUCH easier to talk to people about it now.
Not because I'm more comfortable with it - I just have to do less explaining.

A few brief words, and I'm done.
The lengthy explanations are no longer necessary.

People are starting to realize what the message MEANS - not just hear it and dismiss it.

Not to mention that us Ron Paulites watch more debate footage than the rest of the human population combined :). Most people, if they even watch a debate, will only watch one.

Example: The Fed creates money or lowers interest rates = decline in value of dollar and inflation

He always said the same thing because his ideas are very simple and involve commonsense. The media has been trying to make him seem radical, but he is the most conservative candidate on stage and proves it everyday. He doesn't start changing answers to please crowds. His message intertwines all policies because they are related and what comes out is the message of freedom.

He's been giving the same speech for 30 years.

Literally, sometimes you can compare two of his speeches and some of the lines will be the *exact* same. I think it has nothing to do with lack of creativity or ignorance, but the opposite. He's trying to drill it into our head so hard that we have no choice but to think about it.

I know that, because of Paul's *constant* drilling, whenever I read news articles or op-ed pieces, I can immediately answer "What would Paul think about this?" Kinda creepy, but in an awesome way.

Hey did u see montel williams got himself fired at fox news because he brought up the troops when the talking heads wanted to talk about Heath Ledger?

It was freaking incredible. i wanted to stand up and applaud for the man.

The reason I bring this up is because I interpret it as a "sign" of a greater awakening. Consider that he likely knew the exact consequences of straying from the script and rebuking these people-- he went ahead anyway and said what need to be said.

Down with this war, and down with Fox News!

Paul's campaign is like a 3x3x3 sides rubic's cube. Very simple and easy to put together. it makes sense. McCain's is like a 5x5x5 sided rubic's cube. No matter how hard you try, you can't get the damn thing to line up right. In the end your forced to just peel the stickers and move them to make yourself feel better.

i agree but .. i really feel now that in order for him to really break out is to go after mccain on his record .. gun control, amnesty, free speech, MORE WARS. He'll completely separate himself mccain and people will have to look at him. Then continue with his message.

I didn't hear about that. Way to go Montel! We need more people in the public light speaking out on these real issues. The media is attempting to cover up reality and replace it with discussion of superficial issues.

Whoa.
I didn't know about this.
This is...
Ok, here's what just happened: FOX just fired a huge warning shot at every celebrity and every news journalist - speak out of line and you will face repercussions.

This technique was discussed in depth in... I think it was Orwell Rolls in his Grave, but it's pretty straight forward in intent. One of the examples of this was Helen Thomas who, after being quoted criticizing Bush, was ostracized - despite the established tradition of asking the first question to the president at press conferences, she was back rowed and silenced - the message? "We can silence anyone."

Everyone in the business knows why Montel got canceled, and... they've all got a family to feed. While it might not silence everyone, it will surely silence some.

Sad.

Just today I heard Blitzer talking about if it was true that China is buying America.

They then discussed what they said was the "Republican Rhetoric", they then proceeded to show almost all of the Rep. saying something about China lending us money.

We all know that started with RP. It has taken this long for the media to listen and understand and believe these statements. It came out of Pauls mouth almost a year ago... they laughed... now everyone is saying it.. and they now believe it... but guess who doenst get the credit.

I totally agree, they are all building their grumbling on one talking point of the doctor's platform. I can see the doctor’s satisfaction when one of the incumbents parrots one of the ideals he preached. Nevertheless, we can not let our spirits get down or allow Barak Obama to beat us on money raised. That wouldn’t look good since the doctor talked (dare I say brag) about money raised.

Obama has a significant advantage - he's a media front runner in a field of 2 in the 'party to beat' this year. Republican contributions are split in 4 (and 6 not too long ago).

Me too! :)

I find myself constantly thinking "What Would Ron Paul Do?" then I do that. It's been working perfectly for the last month or so. :D

5 months ago my mother was convinced Ron Paul stood no chance, and she fully supported finishing the job in Iraq. She loved George Bush and felt bad that he was getting all this flack.

I've been talking to her a lot over this time and now she is writing Ron Paul's name in if he doesn't get the nomination. She couldn't watch George Bush's speech, and she thinks people who support the war are clueless. When she talks I can see liberation in her eyes and conviction in her voice.

Everyone wants this. Everyone needs this. Keep working!
