You know how smart he is, why else hasn't he spen't that $20 mil we gave him?

Hmmm, maybe running a successful 10 term campaign did teach him a few things ;)

Also: I think if he announced this right out he would receive that extra 23 mill in a couple weeks.
 
I'm tired of hearing HQ has this big plan that's always about to roll out... Is there even a big plan and how can we confirm that it's really going to happen? I trust HQ, but I don't know if this "big campaign secret" speculation is what they're up to.

edit: does anybody know when Q4 numbers come out from the FEC?

Well im sure if the had some big secret plan they wouldn't be telling us about it, or it wouldn't be secret ya know? Only time will tell. Grassroots needs to continue no matter what. We need to get RP that extra $23 million, if we won't trust him with our money.... Are we going to trust him with our country? Come on folks! Not to sound like a fanboi, but hes fuckin Ron Paul!

It was brought up by hawkeyenick, a credible fella, he has further explanation. Appearently this was the plan all along. Finish in 3rd in the first couple major primaries, then as it becomes completely clear there is no viable GOP candidate blitz the media with TV adds. Demographic oriented ones too, based on the polls provided by the first couple primaries. Gives you free and true polls based on votes (not media speculation), and determines the direction independents are swinging this year.

If this is his plan, I give him crazy props, because that might be the most clever political plan I have seen in a while.

Good stuff. It's important to keep spirits up. Even if we don't win, Ron Paul's message is important for everyone to hear. It's important that we realize this is about Paul's message, not him. Non interventionist foreign policy + civil liberties + sound monetary policy. I think these these 3 prongs make up the main things that are getting people excited about him. These are things that must live on because we aren't getting them from either of the two parties!

I completely agree with this strategy... Dr. Paul is a man of history.. he's been right about EVERYTHING UP UNTIL THIS POINT (re: blow back, iraq, iran, pakistan, gold, inflation, fed, civil liberties etc. etc.).

HE WILL BE RIGHT ABOUT THIS STRATEGY AS WELL.

Thanks, I read the link, but I don't know the fella who writes it. Does this person have direct contact with the campaign? I do trust that Ron Paul is up to something and knows what he's doing, I just don't know how we know this is it. LOL...if that even makes sense...anyway...if somebody on here is in the know, can we atleast know when to expect this? I think we could all use something to look forward to.
 
I think it's a good plan, except that if RP had gotten free media attention and more support from a better finish in the first two states, he would have raised another $23 million in the next money bomb. I am an ardent supporter, and I have donated about $200 so far, and will donate again, but I have been donating $ with the expectation that the campaign will SPEND it.

Bottom line - Ron Paul's supporters are not even close to being tapped out. I can give much more. When new people learn about RP's platform and record, they will be won over and start donating. However, the perception that he cannot win will stop existing supporters from donating, and from new supporters joining the revolution.

People are not going to send him $$ so that he can sit on it and then maybe do a 3rd party run.

Ron Paul wisely invested the first 5 million we raised in gold, now it's worth 50 million!

Well, maybe not.

Well I'm not willing to make it on my honor or anything, but its seems a logical and clever plan and claims this is the "plan" as outlined by RP in Iowa. if this isn't the plan it needs to be, basically.
