November 5th Money Bomb!

The debate is a great time to take advantage of the attention and promote the money bomb on Twitter and Facebook.

Not sure yet which hashtag most people will end up using... CNBC is trying to push #CNBCGOPdebate but that's kinda long so I can see #GOPdebate taking over.

But either way using #StandWithRand will target the people we're after.

To tag on Facebook the page is "@Rand Paul Money Bomb" and the event is "@Rand Paul November 5th Money Bomb!" When you start typing those in it will auto suggest from a list - you have to click on it from the options to change it into a link.

I think many people aren't reading this thread and don't know about it. If it's so important to reach 250 supporters to make this happen, then I think you should make a new thread and put this information in the title itself. "If we don't reach 250 supporters......blah blah won't happen". Just fill in the blank with what you think sounds most urgent in order to get people to do it. It's important that they know it won't get sent out if this doesn't happen and it would be most effective to say it in the title itself to convey urgency.

Yeah, I can change the page and the event but not the website... they are still out sick.

But I've updated the broken event to make clear that people should click the links to the working event. So if anyone follows from the website they'll at least see that and should join the correct one.

Even if you aren't personally able to donate, everyone can help promote the money bomb. Join the Facebook event and invite friends. Share the graphics and videos. Join the Thunderclap.

It's all free, simple and takes as much time as voting in an online poll.

so i responded to this comment below mentioning the aca statism, but id love rpf input to this comment made after i posted the you tube video to a fb page,

I think Bernie Sanders would appeal to Guy Fawkes more than Rand Paul..

has anyone made a page yet exposing bernie sanders statism vs rand pauls freedom and liberty? bullet points etc to help open these folks eyes?

This is only my personal opinion and doesn't necessarily represent the view of everyone working on the money bomb:

A couple times people have brought up Guy Fawkes and mentioned that he's not really the best hero of liberty. I've just answered that the money bomb isn't about Guy Fawkes or Guy Fawkes Day.

To me this money bomb is more about remembering and honoring the original 2007 money bomb. Every other candidate has tried to copy it since, but people should be reminded that it was liberty supporters that created the first one.

And then like the original, it's more drawing inspiration from V for Vendetta and not the real Guy Fawkes. The movie and V are more relevant to our cause than the actual history.

In the same way other candidates have taken the money bomb, other groups have since adopted the masks and V theme for their movements. But it was Ron Paul supporters that did it first. So we're reclaiming it and using them again for liberty.

Yeah, like Barrex said the only way would be to post links in the comment section and hope people see it.

Commenting on posts like that can work. It helps to be one of the first comments so that it can be seen and get likes. Facebook then ranks the comments, so the ones with a lot of likes get shown at the top and seen by more people.
