North London in flames over shooting of 'gangster'

I heard one protester saying that this will be the situation for the Olympics next year.

However, my main problem is how passive the police have been. It's almost like an overload of rules and regulations is stopping them from taking action. Many people are losing their businesses and livelihoods because the police aren't taking tough measures on these terrorists.

But shoot that fucker if he steps near the throne.

I guarantee you the royals are safe. Glad the police are protecting the innocent folks having their property stolen and destroyed.

So what sort of action do you feel is necessary to stop a protest? I mean, they could be like Syria, and just open fire on the crowd. Terrorists... Since when does protesting automatically mean you are a terrorist? I know there is property damage involved, but that doesn't mean they are out to kill people. The police should simply stand back, and let the leaders of the country try to negotiate with the people to find out why there is so much dissent, and if the leaders are good, then they will fix the problems without any person getting hurt by the police.

The police have failed here.

I don't live in the parts of the city that were affected by the domestic enemies, but these messed up people should of been dealt with.

Some people thought loosely of using the military, which I would totally be against, completely unnecessary.

If anything these events have given me what I will expect once the energy problems affect my country that I live in. Violence like this may very well occur. It is a wake up call.
