Noah's Ark Allegedly Found in Turkey

global economic uncertainty pushing the world toward global governance, waves of natural disasters, pestilence fears via viral diseases, increasingly common ufo sightings, recent apparitions of the Virgin Mary witness by thousands in Egypt, increasing persecutions of Christians throughout the world, massive apostasy of former Christian lands, and now the possible discovery of Noah's ark?

The signs are becoming more and more frequent and the times are moving rapidly in prophecy.

Lord have mercy on us.

Yes, have mercy on us because of delusional religious people who are expecting the world to go to shit.

I'm also quite sure I heard about them "finding" noah's ark several years ago, there was a TV special about it lol.

It seems like a new Noah's Ark is found every decade or so. I never hear what happened with the old one. Just saying, I don't think this is something to get too excited about until they've proved it.

You laugh at your own peril and you mock because of your fear. It is you who are delusional if you think humankind is not destroying itself because of pride and greed. I am not making the claim that they found Noah's Ark. I await to see how things pan out. So laugh all you want and mock all you want if it somehow keeps the fear out of your mind. But the fear is there, and the fact you responded to this thread is proof.

Duh, I know what is happening, yeah the fear is there.

It's christians throwing there hands up in the air saying it has been prophesized, there is nothing we can do, god is in control, etc. that is frustrating and ultimately going to make things worse for everyone.

God will not save us from the mess we are in.

"Nevertheless, the evangelical ministry remains convinced that the current find is in fact more likely to be the actual artifact, calling upon Dutch Ark researcher Gerrit Aalten to verify its legitimacy.
“The significance of this find is that for the first time in history the discovery of Noah’s Ark is well documented and revealed to the worldwide community,” Aalten said at a press conference announcing the find. Citing the many details that match historical accounts of the Ark, he believes it to be a legitimate archaeological discovery.
“There’s a tremendous amount of solid evidence that the structure found on Mount Ararat in Eastern Turkey is the legendary Ark of Noah,” said Aalten."

Agreed. Apparently, this discovery has more merit to the claim than most, but we'd like to see the evidence that qualifies this discovery as the genuine article. Preliminary testing has been conducted and a more thorough examination of the site will follow. Time will tell.

WRONG. As St. John the Baptist warned 'Repent'. As the Lord Jesus Christ said, 'Repent'. This is what we can do. This is what we should do.

TER and Keller1967,

I know this issue can be upsetting or vindicating depending on your point of view. However, I'd like to keep this discussion centered on the possible discovery of Noah's Ark based on scientific analysis and the historical record. Thanks for your cooperation.

Repent from supporting the current evil government in any way, I hope. Aren't most christians still tied to the hip of the GOP?

Repent from all sins against God and neighbor.

And please don't equate the Word of God with the evil actions of men and women in a 200 year old political party in the United States. God is infinitely greater than that. Judging Him by the sins of men shows little knowledge of what Christ has revealed.

I have heard of attempts to reach it in years past. It has been seen in satellite photos and samples had been recovered near but lower down the mountain. Previous attempts had failed to reach it.

I had not doubted it, but physical evidence is interesting.
On a side note, several other cultures and religions also have a story of the flood in their past.

Archaeological evidence found would be a bonus.

The Ron Wyatt expedition.

Here is an article about the 1960 expedition by Ron Wyatt, seventeen years later in 1977, Mr. Wyatt made his first of 24 trips to the ark, and he was impressed that this really was the remains of Noah's Ark!

thanks for the links!

we'll have to wait an see; there have been a number of claims over the years; it'll be interesting to see what they turn up.

If it is legit though, I really wonder what the scientific community (mainly those who are uber-skeptics) would claim.

On digging a little more (no pun intended!), this new claim is not related to the site listed above, being several miles away and thousands of feet higher in altitude on Mount Ararat itself, under ice and snow.

All things which have been going on for centuries- our era is not unique. But that said, it will be interesting to see just what they have found.
