No, Sarah Palin didn't betray the Tea Party by endorsing Trump

The Tea Party as it is referred to in the media (Teo-cons) was custom made for someone like Trump. Mostly a bunch of pissed off idiots who have no idea what they stand for, ergo people who gel perfectly with demagogues.

Really? As opposed to "libertarians" who can't decide whether they love or hate the Constitution, our Founding Fathers, open borders, or whether they want the country to die?

It was tea partiers who elected Rand to the Senate.

How could she betray something she was never truly a part of? I'm so fucking sick of the fact that this movement has been hijacked. I thought we really had something in 2007.

Do tell. Who are the rightful owners of the "tea party" in your mind?

Yes and no. Yes in the sense that today's Teo-con group has about as much to do with liberty as the people who re-elected George W. Bush in 2004, no in the sense that some of the newer Tea Party (Teo-cons) claim to like the U.S. Constitution, but actually don't comprehend it.

And while we're on the topic, I'm not in love with the U.S. Constitution, it was the delivery system by which every state church in this country was destroyed and why American Evangelical Christianity is such a hotbed of heresy. There are aspects of the Constitution that have crypto-socialistic ideas mixed in with it that I find utterly repugnant, but as with all things, a non-fatal dose of intellectual poison is much less bothersome than a straight shot of it, which is what certain anarchistic thinkers share in common with the Bernie Sanders crowd.
