Night Time Black Ops In Nj!

The East Valley Tribune (Mesa, AZ) had a reader complaint in it today griping about the Ron Paul signs being hung on private property. We should probably avoid activity that could cause negative press and focus on activity that causes good press like standing on the sidewalk and handing out fliers with a smile.

Having said all that, I have three Revolution banners I need to go hang!

It won't be long that all our signs can be on private property with the owners permission, because they'll be Ron Paul supporters!

Well We got a way to deal with THAT obviously asleep at the wheel whiner.

Hey, if you get busted im sure you can count on a few people here to donate a few bucks to your pay pal account to help:D

Cool, but did you check to make sure its not a crime in your area to do this ?

If you're concerned about that then perhaps you have more work to do in sending lobbyists bad correspondence. I'm sure they do plenty of illegal palm greasing. Your lack of actual human decorum in favor of the ordinances is disgusting and silly.

Great job on the Night Ops :)

Should get list of all towns in america and get people to sign up for it

I'm impressed and glad that people continue to do these kinds of activity. I commend you.

I have already seen enough news stories on this type of actvity to be convinced that this work is necessary and valid. Almost all of the press that came out of this type of activity has been aimed at helping people to understand who Ron Paul is. This is our big goal and you should be proud of getting off your butt, spreading the word, and having fun while doing it.

Keep us posted on whether you get press.

fyi

putting up political stickers/signs on telephone polls is no big deal in NJ (At least north NJ) they are all over.

Really, the best place to do it would be near bus stops and train stations. That way you have a captive audience who can sit there for 5-10 minutes and think about..ok who the @#% is ron paul?

Randy,

I feel ya man. But we have to remember alot of people from alot of different parts of society support RP. Tolerance is key in my opinion.

I'm not all that concerned with the legality of hangin signs (other than getting caught). But I will try to respect peoples private property. Besides there's no place on private property that will gain as much attention as an freeway overpass anyway.

My group is planning a sign making party in early September.
I'm sure beer and debauchery will be involved (at least for me).
And I know I'll be out all night hanging up signs (with video to boot)

Thomas Paine's "Common Sense" pamphlet was illegal at the time and spread like wild fire and now we know him as the " father fo the American revolution".

Got some coverage:

But watch you back, if any of you did this:
"Code enforcement officers began pulling down the Ron Paul placards by mid-morning Tuesday, according to Frank Leslie, township director of Administration, Code Enforcement and Environmental Affairs."

“We’re trying to determine at this point the origin of the signs,” said Leslie, adding that Paul posters were also found on Brookfield Road and Watchung Avenue. “Once we identify them, we will serve them with a summons in violation of the signage ordinance.”

My response to that article SHUT THE UCK UP MEDIA...you could not do your job..now its time do ours!
