Excellent interview. Her questions are all fair, but some of them make me cringe, like the one about genocide. I worry about how people will take his answers.
What was the question, and how did he respond?
kylejack, i've just learned how to blog and design a website, so bear with me. But when you say, "mirror", would that simply mean putting it somewhere on my site? i'd be happy to do it, though i'd have to figure out how, and then how to provide a link to it for others.
i've got the interview playing now and its great. no sound bites, just a long open space for him to speak.
After discussing Iraq, she says "What about genocide situations like Darfur?"
He says, "Same thing, I have no right, no moral right to take the taxpayer's money and go with a gun to go stop that" and then went on about voluntary consent. Good answer, but might spook the average person, you know?
.What are we doing now? Nothing (except condemning the violence/genocide), because there is no oil in Darfur... the right policy is followed.
