NH GOTV script loaded into Phone From Home system!!!

are you just calling Paul supporters or all registered Rs and Us?

Ron Paul supporters mostly, but in Iowa I got some other people that obviously were not RP supporters. There also could be more than one RP supporter in a household with the same phone number. More likely my guess is duplicate lists to different phone banks besides the PFH system. The PFH system after a survey is completed is not supposed to call that person again. It would be nice if all the phone banks could coordinate in an efficient manner with different GOTV lists, that would be very effective.

Here is the deal. There are grassroots activists operating separately from the campaign. It was worse in IA because rp12.org was still operating. We still have someone doing a robosurvey and other activists just going through white pages. This is very hard for Nick to calculate for, as people can imagine.

Further, the people are getting bombarded with RoboCalls and we are like the only live callers that reach them. Many use this fact to unload on us for the robocalls...

If there are multiple voters in the house one may be a RP supporter, one may be undecided. Both of them get calls.

There are LOTS of factors going on.

The science says it is better to overcall than to undercall, so the campaign wants us calling. Maybe people here think we should just stop calling and leave it to the rogues/robo callers but I trust the campaign when they say that we get MANY more votes than we _may_ lose by calling

If it is tough for you, dont call. If you do call, do it with love

That is plain dumb when there is a system in place.

Was also wondering, is it a random group of people we're calling? One lady said I was the 3rd call she got from us and she was extremely annoyed that we called again. Shouldn't she have been put on a do not call list after having already been talked to?

Not again! This shit needs to get fixed because I feel like we turned away a lot of people in Iowa by calling them 5+ times. I don't give a shit who is running this show and says to keep calling, anyway...we're going to lose if this keep up!

^^This.

If ronpaulhawaii states that the list is being purged and updated properly, then I am comfortable with his answer on this. What we do need to work on is trying to get these other RP groups to stop calling on their own and just do the PFH program.

I guess your right. It was just frustrating being in Iowa with the campaign and it seemed like everyone we called was flipping out telling us they were called 5 times already and it was only 11am. You have me on board, onward with the revolution

That's what I thought as well. NO RENEGADES

I'm getting a very high response rate tonight. One guy just told me he's bringing eight people with him.

How were they a waste? We were doing these until the day before and we were still able to convert people to RP

What good is it if you "convert" 1 in 200 calls to Ron Paul the day before a caucus/primary? 90% of the "conversions" were people who were liking Ron Paul BEFORE your pointless phone call anyway. It's a waste of valuable time, which renders you unable to contact a large enough amount of your ALREADY ID'd voters. We had enough ID'd in Iowa to win. We were dropping in the polls, so what do we do? Wast another 2 days of pointless persuasion calls. I'd "convert" (find) maybe 1 new supporter per 4 hour shift.. and my conversion rate was above-average. meanwhile, I could have spoke personally to 50+ already-ID'd voters, making sure they went to the caucus with friends.
