Newt Gingrich Newt tries all sorts of comics in new anti-Romney ad (kind of funny)

Pff...The fact Ron came to Mitt's defense about the 'firing' thing already makes Newt look like an idiot here. And the ending, umm...wtf is he thinking? What he is trying to imply with him being surrounded by blacks? I mean, WHY is that bad? Newt's gonna get crapped on for that, but that's fine with me lol. Also, why is hunting varmints bad? And the dog on top of the car, yea, i guess it's kinda 'odd' but still, HOW is that bad? These are really stupid things to poke fun at, and COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT in a debate. As if Obama would really bring trivial shit up like that :rolleyes:

The only thing that was plausible was the 'corps are people too' issue, which is old news and been vetted by nearly every other candidate. Epic fail ad, imo.

Yeah Romney is a buffoon but this ad is poorly constructed and will actually help Romney.

Here is the secret with negative ads... They only work on the issues...not on character attacks. That's why Paul's have worked and Newt's won't.
 
I've explained this before in regard to Romney putting his dog on top of the car in a kennel...Romney's dog said "roof roof" so Romney simply obliged his request. Get off his ass and quit making a big deal about this.
 
I think this is web-only because Newt knows no sane TV station would run it.

Also the first line about "beating Obama in debates" immediately distracts the viewer because the task is to beat Obama in an election.
 
I was bored after the first five minutes of his Bain-bashing add. Need to see it but it's so much slower than a RevPac add.

This add is a portent of things to come if Romney is Republican nominee. No mention of real issues because there's no difference on real issues. All will be negative adds on
silly crap like this.

Now a Paul - Obama election would make for a great, issues-oriented campaign.
 
Um.... I think this ad will play well with Jo Schmo average American. It makes Mitt look REALLY out of touch. The thing is he probably IS really out of touch. Some people will eat this up.

Agree that awkward, geek factor helps Romney. Gives him some personality unlike Gingrich and Obama. The ad confirms that Gingrich is desperate and that Gingrich is a debateaholic.
