They said something about him spending the next six days on kind of a farewell tour, going around and personally thanking people who helped his campaign, and that he wants to give everyone he wants to attend his formal announcement time to make arrangements to be there.

Keep in mind, '100% a part of it' does not mean getting yourself over committing and getting burned out. That's almost as bad as not being involved at all. Just because one don't show up to every meetup, volunteer every spare moment, donate to every moneybomb, or phone from home from open till close, doesn't mean that they aren't 100% a part of it. Thank God for those of us who do, but we shouldn't try to make those that can't do or don't do as much feel like they're less of a liberty supporter.

Come on, it isn't rational to believe that Santorum and Gingrich were only running to block Paul. Both of those candidates share the same group of supporters with each other but not with Paul. Santorum has still refused to nominate Romney. Gingrich could have gotten out of the race along with Santorum instead of actually making a play for Delaware if he was a supporter of Romney. Santorum personally dislikes Romney, and could actually have won the election if he had won Michigan and Ohio.

I doubt it. The media was just starting to vett Santorum.

According to what I read overhere, he has not announced anything, but "sources" inside the Gingrich camp apparently told CNN that he would step down next tuesday.
