You should be more careful not to judge the intentions of a group you are not a member of. Having a margin of error certainly does not mean you must... what? Round your numbers? Decimals, and their usage, have a specific context, of which this poll is not necessarily misusing.

What the hell are your talking about? I said absolutely nothing whatsoever about "having a margin of error" meaning that "you must round your numbers." How you can possibly derive such a bizarre notion from what I said is beyond me. My reference to "decimals" was part of something set off from the rest of what I said and put in both italics and quotes in order to emphasize the fact that is was just a snarky illustration of the general phenomenon of people who don't know any better being impressed by numbers of any kind (merely because those numbers are presented authoritatively), So ... YOU should be more careful to read & understand what other people are actually saying.
