Here you may read an article by Dick Morris, and Newsmax keeps scrolling this across their tv banner.

Dick Morris schools Vivek on why the U.S. must keep giving Israel billions in aid every year, and why the US
has a commitment to go to war for Israel on the same level as NATO Article 5.

Vivek's anti-Israel attitude will not fare well in Conservative circles.
You can be sure the ADL is investigating him.

"Seeking headlines, he declared, "There's no North Star commitment to any one country, other than the United States of America."

He's wrong. America has a North Star moral commitment to aid Israel if it is attacked."

"To be called a Lamb of God means that God gave Jesus to be killed like a lamb"

Last I checked, Lambs didnt suicide themselves at the altar (unless they had something on the Clintons)

Brother Texan, if God don't kill himself first, then ain't nobody else gonna do it.

Is this a legitimate effort to discredit the candidate? Or is it free advertising? Does anyone here really think Newsmax is so stupid that they don't realize there's a significant portion of the population who will consider this an endorsement?

He laid down his life willingly. That is not suicide, it is sacrifice.

See John 15 also.

Moving on. Vivek is on the "chit list" now. He's going nowhere. Not allowable. Not a VP prospect either.

Ok, but that still implies he was killed, or at the very least his earthly body was killed.

Either way, Jews killed his earthly body, and tried to kill him entirely. I don't think that is in contest no?

The Jews did not physically do it themselves. But they did bear the responsibility, even though Jesus let it happen.

Matthew 27:24-26
When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it. Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children. Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.

Mark 15:12-15
And Pilate answered and said again unto them, What will ye then that I shall do unto him whom ye call the King of the Jews? And they cried out again, Crucify him. Then Pilate said unto them, Why, what evil hath he done? And they cried out the more exceedingly, Crucify him. And so Pilate, willing to content the people, released Barabbas unto them, and delivered Jesus, when he had scourged him, to be crucified.

Whether they did it by their own hands I don't think is the point.

My original question was, why are Christians so infatuated with Israel? ( considering that [ Jews played a significant role in the killing of Jesus' earthly body ] ? )
