Are they just gonna send a $1000 coin in the mail to me? ...get it in my mailbox? =o

how does that work?

do they leave me a letter in the mailbox saying i go to the post office to pick it up / sign?

Yes, it's an orange slip I think.

Although there's a decent chance your mail carrier will just ignore the signature requirement and stick it in your mailbox. Mine did until I went to the PO to complain.

I've ordered from them 4 times. First time coins were left in my mailbox. Last 3 times I got the delivery notice and had to take that to post office to pick up my orders. I asked the lady at the post office why the first order was left in mailbox and she said anything insured over $200 must have a signature. First order was under $200, rest were more than $200.

they ship it all together right?

like if i buy some silver coins, some gold things, etc... i wont end up with a bunch of boxes right? lol

i purchased about $650 worth of gold/silver and it was waiting for me when I got home one day... no signature. It shipped fast.

From my experience with Apmex, everything I've ordered shipped in 1 box and arrived in about 4 days. I place orders on Sunday night and USPS usually attempts to deliver by Thursday.

wow, you really ARE a newbie, not just to buying coins.

YEs, usually they're shipped together, but depending on availability, sometimes companies will send them separately.
