You mentioned Bloomberg, this is a man willing to let people in chronic pain suffer, and says so, a modern day Marie Antoinette but instead of let them eat cake, "Well too bad if they have to suffer a little".

They will kill as many of us as they think is needed to obtain compliance.

Networking with people in your area who will quickly come to your aid will be imperative to survive. This could be the first time that a ham radio would be needed, but there has to be a network set up so that you can, with the press of a button (even if the power is cut) automatically repeatedly broadcast distress information so that listeners will hear, and there needs to be listeners available continuously (how about some method of triggering an alarm in the home of network members to alert them to listen?)

That's exactly right. We may hate communism and Mao himself, and we may disagree with him on many issues. But with that quote he hit the nail right on the head.
