I've only used Inkscape a bit, but (assuming you want to do the spray-paint style) you may want to experiment with making a layer above the "Myths" layer that has a grunge/splatter pattern the same color as the background.

More than happy to help with any writing needs. It's a little bit late where I am but I felt very inspired to write a tentative answer for this particular one.

13. Ron Paul is unelectable.
-This is our biggest myth. We need to shatter this one into a million pieces.

It's rare to hear Ron mentioned on the media without being described "unelectable." There's a long list of media personalities and celebrities saying as much. Donald Trump declared that Ron Paul "cannot get elected" at CPAC 2011 and FOX news journalist Carl Cameron went as far as to ask if Ron had any electability in a 2008 Presidential debate. First, Ron Paul is a ten-term US Congressman, often winning his district with over 70 or 80 percent of the vote. Regardless of media opinion, the people of Texas' 14th district have repeatedly proven Ron Paul electable.

Further, Ron Paul is the only Republican candidate that can unite a wide and diverse coalition of voters in a contest against Barack Obama. Reagan republicans, the anti-war movement, small-government conservatives, those wishing to repeal the PATRIOT act and other groups all stand to gain from a Ron Paul presidency. Most importantly, he can reach outside the traditional Republican base in order to challenge the current President. Because of his unique political platform and indisputable personal and political integrity, he draws support from both parties. Social conservatives will find no stronger defender of the rights of the unborn, nor a more responsible and devoted father and grandfather. Anti-war activists and opponents of corporate welfare can look to his voting record of unrelenting opposition to both. Small business owners will appreciate his opposition of taxes and regulations.

One need only look at the current occupant of the White House to see that the media's definition of "electability" is dubious. Even in 2004, when Barack Obama spoke at the Democratic National Convention, the idea that he could be President was a pipe dream. His race, his middle name of Hussein, and his relative lack of experience led many to dismiss him. While the media did much to support him, there were very real obstacles to an Obama presidency. Now, with Ron Paul championing principles of limited government, a return to the Constitution, sound economic policy, and an end to grinding, unpopular wars, is he any less electable than Barack Obama? 2008 was Obama's moment. Let 2012 be Paul's.
 
Im kind of getting confused as to what exactly I am doing with the site right now. Sorry.

1. We need a vote on what banner Im using.

2. Am I doing social network icons? If so, are we going to make and update our own or are they linking to the official campaign?

3. It is actually physically hurting me to write all these myths out in red where I can read them. Is there a better way? I could make a random myth pop up or something? Its probably not the best as far as finding a link to dispel a myth in a comment or article somewhere but wow, it kind of hurts to see all these attacks and incorrect info on one page. Maybe I better get used to it. At least it links to truth.

Edit - I love the clarity bit in that screen shot someone put up - I added it. Had to shorten it though, so I went with some alliteration "clarity over confusion". Hope you dont mind.

Hmmm. I'm still a little confused as to how having multiple domains as opposed to multiple sub-domains would benefit us. Maybe, though! Just confused still. Sorry, that's probably my fault, lol.

I think the social network icons would be a huge plus. I think it would be more beneficial to have them correspond to our own page, though -- it might help with advertising, you know? What does everyone think -- our own Facebook, Twitter page for this website? That way, it spreads like wildfire.
As for the myths in red, I mean, I sort of agree with you -- a little, lol >_< Perhaps what we could do is group them, you know? So: Social Issues, Foreign Policy, Monetary Policy... I'm just not sure what category "Ron Paul is a Racist" would fit under. But perhaps categories would be best? We could have a small section on the front page advertising the most popular ones. Or, perhaps just a box with two graphics depicting two myths in particular?
As for the banner, I'm not too sure. The one that's up now seems all right.
 
It would be nice to see the social buttons tweet/post the myth on the respective site. That way if people see a tweet that says "That guy gets donations from Nazis! I'm not voting for him!" they can tweet the busted myth back.

I tried the red and white only A, but I don't like it as much. It makes the Myth stamp look disconnected. It's not an official site, so I don't think it needs to be exactly uniform.

I am thinking multiple domains that are then forwarded to the appropriate page on the site. Treat each separate page as if it were a site. We certainly could have multiple sites, I just don't know that it is nessessary.

All I care about is the end result. If a person searches a myth, such as "ron paul racist" then we come up first and foremost.

Stand by for a different example of another aspect...

GREAT IDEA. This way, we can be concise and address each attack without actually bringing up the attack by name. WELL DONE sir! +rep.
I am all for the social networks directed at the site itself - but Im not much for running them. Sorry.
To any volunteers - I dont envy you, its difficult to keep a facebook and twitter page up and current.

Racist would be social. ;p
 
Oh, I think I see. So more domains would just allow us to garner more prominence in the search results. I mean, I guess the only thing I'd say is that it'd be pretty expensive =/ you know? As opposed to just going with one domain, and SEO'ing just one? Maybe -- I think it all depends on how much we can put together for this project. Maybe if we get a... what is it called, one of those online fundraising things?
 
sub-domains are free. relax guys, that is at best a non-issue. focus on what the site looks like and the content. let me know if you need anything.
 
wstrucke, would you be up for helping with the articles? :D If so, PM me your Google account -- we've got a Google Docs up and running, and we're all working out of that. If you're up for writing (or even editing) a few articles, that'd be great!
