New Tulsa campaign hq!

The BofA across the street was taken out for the highway widening. I actually worry about this HQ location as it might fall victim to widening as well, if the 51st & Lewis project begins before the end of this election cycle.

Nah. They've torn down everything they're going to for that project--except for that ancient and abused bridge over the highway there. When it goes, that intersection will be quiet for several days. And yes, the BoA did get constricted a bit in the process.

Ah yeah I can see that now in "satellite" mode on google maps. There's no building and they're widening the highway. :( I hate highways so much, destroyed the train system and turned every city into disgusting urban sprawl.

Anyway, its awesome that you guys opened this up. Do you have any pics of the officer. You need a huge Ron Paul banner, hopefully something that can be seen from the highway!

Glad to hear you all got opened up. I had hoped to come up and help out with some of the work days but it just didn't work out.

Anyways, keep up the great work guys.

Drop by anytime. In fact, get here within the hour and I'll give you the nickel tour. At a discount!

Thanks for the invite but I'm way out here in Tahlequah taking care of folks. When I do get up that direction I certainly intend to hunt you guys down though :)

Tahlequah is a beautiful spot to be--even if the leaves have fallen. It doesn't get enough credit. So, enjoy!

Ron Paul Campaign Opens Tulsa Office

I just heard another mention Ron Paul's campaign office openning this morning on NPR.

I don't think it is a big deal but I am amused that the 'news' doesn't know or doesn't distinguish between a volunteer effort and official.

Do you almost get the feeling that us mere plebes aren't supposed to take an active interest and role in our republic? Oh, well. Glad we're smart enough not to care what they think we are or are not 'supposed to' do.

Just got ambushed by two TV news crews. Guess we'll have a little more coverage this evening.

I just went by for the first time. I think you must have just left because they referred to someone named "AC" being interviewed.

I succumbed to the pressure and talked to Channel 2 while there, no idea how I came across.

Love the HQ tho. I'll be showing up for the delegate thing on the 17th for sure.

8 (KTUL) and 'the Spanish language station' (I'm guessing Univision on 25) this morning. Didn't see myself at 6 on 8, so..?

Didn't use any of the interviews with people there. Instead, let's hear from a political science professor from Michele Bachmann's college. :D

Yeah, we seem to make too much sense to actually be shown on the air. Or directly quoted, for that matter...

For those wondering if it's worth the effort: We've had visitors come by and talk to us about conventions and delegates every day since our grand opening. There's one here now, in fact.

Every day so far.
