New Strategy for Caucus States: No Rallies or Big Speeches--Just Long Town Hall Q&A's

good idea, suggest this to the campaign, no use discussing it here on the forums among people that have no control of how these campaign events are run.

BE EFFECTIVE.

I agree. he needs to do at least 50+ Townhalls and events in NV and MN...sadly, Ron will not do it. He is not really motivated to win and he will undercut his campaign's efforts to do so. That's the fact no one in the grassroots wants to admit. RON is not motivated personally to win and therefore doesn't campaign hard enough....get ready for more disappointments.

"Ron Paul Takes on All Comers--That Includes You Too Gingrich You Fat Goblin if You Weren't Scared Shitless--We've Got Your 7 Hour Lincoln-Douglas Debate Right Here You Demonic Debaucherous Dimwit"

OMG - that made me laugh out loud!!!!!:D I'm still laughing as I type this!

If you notice, Ron has been doing shorter events, taking few questions etc...

I think you may be referring to Ron's "whistle stops", which are like the last-minute cramming for exams - just a whirlwind tour of the area before the day before the vote. He did that in Iowa and in South Carolina.

I was very surprised Ron didn't schedule any real town halls in South Carolina at all, but maybe that was his "frugal" approach to not spend any more than necessary on a state where he knew he couldn't win. Still, the Campaign needs to move away from staging a "rock star" event with fellow Ron Paul supporters and start slogging it out with the new crowd, give a short presentation of his positions on policy and then work questions from the audience. That is how you win the voters. He did it in Iowa, and it was working well. We need to get back to that.

Separate the Wheat from the Chaff

New Las Vegas Hotel Scrolling Marquee:

"Ask Ron Paul: He's here til Monday"
"Ask him how he will bring the troops home."

"Ask Ron Paul: In the Wayne Newton Theatre"
"Ask him for the details"

"Ask Ron Paul: 1PM to 5PM, 7PM to 9PM"
"Ask him if he's found any evidence that Persians have any idiomatic equivalent to the American expression 'wipe off the map'"

* * *

I think that 2 and 3 day/night extended engagements might put Ron in an extremely non-hurry-up mode. If he knows he's going to be there for maybe hours on end, who knows how much wheat Ron will be able to separate from the chaff?
