New Ron Paul Ad: Staying on the Right Path

proof of this? and you're talking about selena quintanilla the tejano singer right?
Family of Selena confirmed last cycle, no link, sorry. Obviously Ron couldn't talk about it due to federal healthcare privacy law. Easy to believe, though. Selena was born in Lake Jackson, and Ron was the only OB-Gyn in town for a while.

First, I'd like to ask why it matters if RP delivered Selena aside from just a cool anecdote.

Second, I LOVEEEEE this ad! This will definitely help us with the evangelicals and with women.

However...I get a bit nervous wit the Republican targeted ads what it might do to us re: independents. But then again, we get independents primarily based on foreign policy and economy, not domestic issues. So we'll see.

For something more direct, someone may need to track down Selena's family and see if they'll reconfirm.
As if the first confirmation wasn't enough? Sounds almost like reporters asking the same question over and over again! :p

I think our female numbers just ticked up
FINALLY, FINALLY, FINALLY... hallelujah, we have an Ad with Women in the mid to senior age groups. yES

Now, to complete the win in the home stretch marketing strat... a RP family Ad is needed.

Nice ad, but poor choice. All of the Republicans Ron is running against are pro-life. Ron probably has more pro-choice support than any other Republican candidate, and he risks alienating them with this.

He needs an ad for foreign policy. Also, one for seniors and how he will protect Social Security. And a new viral ad on Mitt Romney.

This isn't a pro-choice ad. It is an ad that tells stories of Ron's reliability, personability, his communications with women, his trustworthiness, spirituaity and humanity.

WA Post ran a post on this the other day and there were a bunch of people running attacks at Ron Paul. Of course it was mainly liberals that want a federal law that wouldn't ban abortion in any state.

I agree. It certainly would have been very helpful, considering the newsletter attacks.

naaa..a lot of people see through these laughable " we have the black guy too" strategies, that you see in every campaign and every movie,it's laughed at by any comedian by now .
Let's stop reacting to the newsletters and make them more important than they are.

Please:
Let's all let them die down for God's sake.
Let's all stop keeping them soooo alive and important.
they are'nt really, most people we want to address don't give a rat's ass to the newsletters, many see clearly through the concerted smear campaign by the establishment and don't like what they see.

The lady with the dark hair and rust shirt with deco around the collar was hispanic. What do you need??/ a frakkin' sombrero, a chihuahua, a pinata and an AR-15??

+1 Believe it or not, in some parts of Texas most Hispanics are very assimilated and don't speak with an accent.

Selena is very popular, and I think it would easily go viral on twitter if a bunch of us tweeted or retweeted something like "Guess who delivered Selena? Yep, Ron Paul". Someone could probably come up with something much better.

well come on..
IT IS as pro life as they come.
One mother even says" i went with him because i knew he was pro life and that felt good"or so..,another even mentions" from conception"..
it does not get more pro life than this.
Very good,if you ask me,and is not even a "christian: view point for me :
No liberty without sacred respect for life.
