New Ron Paul Ad: Staying on the Right Path

Probably online only for some testing, then edited as needed for TV. That's the beauty of having such a large, involved grassroots - we can be the focus group for when they come out with new ads. A lot of us are objective enough to say what we like and what we don't like.

Commercials aren't sold in 1:08 blocks, and it doesn't have the required "I approved this message."

Look at every other ad they have uploaded on youtube, they always have the extra fluff that they slice off for TV. Also, the ad is unlisted, they almost always upload it without the "I approve this message".

why would they not turn this into a TV ad. I don't see them NOT doing this...it will be on T.V.

Probably in Iowa, maybe in NH, and definitely in SC

Ron Paul Campaign Releases New Pro-life Ad Featuring Some of His Former Patients

Women patients attest to Dr. Paul’s character, professionalism and commitment to life

LAKE JACKSON, Texas – The Ron Paul 2012 Presidential campaign unveiled its new prolife ad “Always on the Right Path” featuring four former patients of Dr. Paul’s medical practice in Brazoria County, Texas.

Dr. Paul, an Air Force flight surgeon and 12-term Congressman from Texas, is by trade an accomplished OB-GYN who personally delivered more than 4,000 babies.

The 60-second
online ad will be shared via email and on websites with conservative, prolife, and values voter audiences beginning today. It begins with a narrator describing Dr. Paul as a prolific doctor, a man of faith, and a man committed to protecting life. However, the moving testimonials of his patients are what the ad features most prominently – and most effectively.

“Some people need to have a good word said about them. Ron is the sort of person that his life is his good word,” former patient Laura Mays offers in the ad. “Ron did not let Washington change him,” Ms. Mays later adds.

“He not only protects unborn life, but he also walks through journeys with women and he has for years,” Kara Gore proclaims in the ad.

“It’s not hard for someone who is a Christian and who truly believes to stay on the right path, and I think that’s what kind of person Ron Paul is,” Diane Wilson declares in the ad.

“This ad is unequaled in its authenticity, and in its capacity to convey the message that not only is Ron Paul the Champion of the Constitution, he is also a champion of life with particular emphasis on the unborn,” said Ron Paul 2012 National Campaign Chairman Jesse Benton. “This is a clear case of credible subject matter serving as its own convincing message.”

I hope they run this in Iowa so every woman watching soap operas, day time talk shows, or lifetime see's this a few times.

This ad will do well with the religious right and the conservative base. The question is whether or not they are satisfied with his unwillingness to tell women what to do with their unborn child. I have to wonder how this will influence those voters.

I hope they air this in Iowa and NH. Also, I think they should have one more "feel good" ad released before Jan 3rd; maybe about his military service and donations??

Ron Paul's strongly pro life, and favors overturning or invalidating Roe v. Wade. He just doesn't favor nationalizing the issue -- he thinks it should be handled at the state level.

Too bad they didn't include one of his African American patients. Would've been useful to offset the racism charges.

Yes, I am aware of that, but the religious right wants a president who will serve their agenda. So that's why I am wondering how much this will influence that voter base.

I've got one i'm just about to post. I put Bachmann and Santorum in it also. It hits Romney and Gingrich on abortion. We need to bleed votes of both and its still a plus if they bleed to Bachmann and Santorum, because we all know they have no chance.

Plus if I don't look like a paulite, the neocon blogs might post it.

Hopefully the religious right will recognize the value of states rights, and the acute danger, to liberty, of federalizing every issue.
