Now I will go spam the authors who intentionally omitted Ron Paul. The negative connotations and ad hominems, and possibly threats, will assuredly help. The author will likely take kindly to this, and will be sure to add Ron Paul to the next article. In fact, if enough of us get involved, he may even print a retraction and public apology. Afterward I will spread the news to all my friends on social networking sites so they can know about this atrocity; even though they aren't into politics and will ignore it, or they are Ron Paul supporters and already know about it.

The author is human and doesn't appreciate the lambasting by "those rude Ron Paul supporters", and he will likely write an article or blog about it. More people will read the follow up than read the actual article in question and wavering or potential support will be lost forever. Although, it will be easier to ignore all new inbox messages and intentionally leave Ron Paul out of all future articles in spite.
