IF the freaking LP/CP and even some republicans would swallow their pride and unite truly under a NEW PLATFORM, A NEW BRAND NAME and A NEW PARTY that would cross all lines and unite the LP/CP/20-25% of republicans and 5-10 percent of the Dem's/Indy's. then you now have a party polling over 30% easily,but the LP/CP(not all of them of course) are full of a bunch of wanna be power hungry ass_____(only apply to those it needs to apply to)!!!! so after this election we are back to square one and i hope all these forces understand the revolution and the message is BIGGER THEN THE LP/CP and even Ron Paul.
RON PAUL needs to get Barr/Baldwin and the powers to be in the LP/CP in a room and start KICKING SOME ASS,
YES RON PAUL ,PLEASE TAKE BARR/BALDWIN AND START BUMPING SOME HEADS, ERRRRRRR SIGH, THIS IS THE ANSWER,but even the CFL/rallyfortherepublic/LP/CP cannot OPEN their eyes, HOW CAN WE EXPECT REPUBLICANS to open their eyes,when WE CANNOT, SIGH DOUBLE SIGH,very frustrating if this doesn't happen soon or by next election, then the lp/cp and our movement,might not matter in a police state!!!!

I think the majority of LP/CP members find conservatism a very acceptable compromise. The Ron Paul movement also proved that conservatives make up the majority - even when libertarians and leftists join hands. What did we get nationally? ~8%?


Conversion of Neocons and Social Liberals is the only reasonable and feasible goal.

polls are bs and i know what the feeling is on the ground here in colorado and yes both the leaders in the lp/cp have to big of egos and some are power wanna be hungry ass_____ and sorry im married so i can't do you lp/cp are basically the same but are too proud to unite and if the lp and cp had done their job and joined the republican party like Ron Paul asked them to,which they did not, then we wouldn't be where we are so for unlawful carnal knowledge and understand they better unite or the lp/cp will be the joke they are as well as the gop. we will be back to square one after the election ,so good luck... something big better happen and if it doesn't then so be it, lp/cp had a chance to make a difference and many not all ,just stood on the side line, if not ,ron paul would of got higher percentages in the primary but the lp/cp members decided not to join,note i was lp,but im a republican now... how long who knows, i do not like the septic tank of the gop for sure,though the lp/cp are to closed minded to go further unless they unite behind this new message,if not then let's see where the lp/cp go???

I'm guessing you aren't a conservative? The LP and CP co-exist separately because they have different beliefs - they don't merge not because they're proud and don't want to compromise, but because it'd serve no benefit. They can both preach their unique message seperately without being falsely associated as many in "big tents" are. The parties serve no other purpose on the national level except to give libertarianism political relevency and to promote the ideas of liberty.

Somebody needs to buy a big media outlet first.. this new party will never go anywhere as long as the propaganda machines known as FOX, CNN, ABC, etc all push the two party duopoly. It doesn't matter if we had a new party on the ballot iin all 50 states for this November -- if the media censors that candidate and doesn't give him/her exposure then 30% is totally out of reach.

Focus on it - the media controls our election. It doesn't matter who your candidate is or what their positions are. As long as the current media is in place you'll only see the two party duopoly in power.

The closest a third party candidate has come to 30% was Perot, and he got that by.. oh.. buying huge chunks of media time... not by being affiliated with a party.

... yep, and.. the Ds and Rs are most likely behind a lot of the division within the cp/lp. If they can keep two parties splitting "our" vote then there's no way either the lp or cp can get enough steam built up to do any damage to the D or R party.

we have a great chance to do big things ,but the ego's in the republican branch and CP/LP will not make it happen ,though a new party with a new platform that includes and doesn't exclude would be huge and they would be polling over 20% immediately if the LP/CP and 25% of the republicans and others would UNITE,but highly doubtful when you include the human equation

well if they do not unite ,they will remain what they are today pretty much obscure and they will not grow any bigger,because the d's and r's have destroyed their brand names, so in the end unless they create a new party with a new platform and truly unite, they will fall to the back of the pack and stay there. both of these parties came from the republican branch and if they had truly listened to ron paul and dropped their freaking pride they could of taken back the gop,but they chose not to, and thats why we are where we are today, people spread out everywhere

like i said i do not care if they cannot drop their own egos, the cp and lp will continue down the pathetic road there on,because they want their own exclusive party. the naysayers are the ones that are the problem, but like i said all the ego's in the lp/cp and republican party will not allow a unification, they would rather stay divided and talk about their party. ooo well they had a great chance, the lp/cp BLEW IT, they left the republican party and formed a new party and they had a chance to take the republican party back and the lp/cp decided not to!! if the lp and cp and rejoined the republican party in the last 2 yrs and swallowed their ego's then Ron Paul could of possibly won the republican nomination,but many lp/cp members decided to sit on the side lines and watch, oo wellll live and learn!!!!

well instead of just me ,we should have cp/lp/republicans/dems/indys calling folks ,so instead of just me or i . It is us and WE CAN MAKE IT HAPPEN. Might not happen until after the election.

My vision would be a deal brokered thru the lp/cp and republicans to have both parties and ron paul unite at the rally for the republic, NOW THAT WOULD MAKE HISTORY. will it happen? probably not,must it happen?
