Read the claim,

Claim: The US mint has been producing the Amero, a coin to be used as the new currency of America, Mexico, and Canada.

That statement is correct, there have only been proofs made, and its not in production.....Yet but its already being talked about by economists, so I dont know why anyone wouldnt believe it. The trans continental toll road going through the country is being paid for by private money, so it hasnt been talked about in Washington.
