New Peter Schiff TV Commercial Slams Dodd!!

that's EPIC! but shouldn't "Country" be "Connecticut" ?

Dodd has already been advertising a lot here. He is nervous, but we can't let him get this head start.

So will this ad actually be able to air? It has clips from different networks, etc.
 
I believe that those clips can be used under fair use laws. I have often seen news program clips used in political ads.

I think Schiff2010.com should pay to run these ads, even if only a few times in CT. They could then get the local news programs to replay them many times over, essentially getting free airtime. It's a trick that is often used for extremely low-budget campaigns.
 
I love it, thx for posting it, HWP. I can't wait to start campaigning for Schiff (and Rand), it'll be like the GOP primary all over again. I'm pumped!

Yeah I think the clips can be used to. Rudy had an ad that had a bunch.

Hey gang, I am the guy that made this video. I wanted to post something earlier but it took a few days to get this forum account approved.

I do not know the folks from the Schiff2010 website. I am just a guy who does a little video editing as a hobby. I used the logo at the end, I hope they don't mind, if they do i will change it. I saw Dodd was already running ads so I wanted to make something decent that people could use in blogs or social networking to help get Peter's name out. I read somewhere that people will watch anything on the internet if they know it is only 60 seconds or less.

I appreciate the constructive criticism, I think the end result was much better because of it. Thanks. I don't know how many people have put this on Facebook but most of the hits over the past few days have come from that site.

How many folks plan on working with the Schiff campaign? I run a small business out of my house, I just finished my last project and am not taking any more. I plan on spending the next year and a half donating full time to the campaign. I am not happy with the direction this country is headed and I am tired of sitting on my ass and hoping for the best. This campaign will be too important.

I know most everyone here is convinced Peter will announce his intent to run soon but I just noticed http://www.peterschiff2010.com/ has recently changed from "site holder" to "under construction".

If anyone would like the original file for this video I think it is small enough to send in an email. You can PM your email and ill send it to you.

Hey Michael.

Your video is awesome. I think the perfect strategy if Peter faces Dodd is to contrast the man who predicted the crisis with the man who contributed to it. He has to win a primary first, but we can make him stand out from the establishment neocons who didn't see it coming.

I really hope he runs and if he does I plan to volunteer for him here in CT.

Yes, it should say Connecticut. CT voters don't want to know what Schiff will do for Texas or California.

And no, the 17th Amendment did not change who Senators represent, like someone above me said. They still represent their state. They are just elected by popular vote now.
 
Michael P, you are a true patriot! Welcome to the forum.

If Schiff runs, I would certainly consider spending a lot of time helping him, depending on how busy things are with my company in California.

I've noticed a lot of people using the word "draft" to refer to political candidates. Very scary that supposed libertarians are throwing that vile word around so flamboyantly. It brings images of guns and bloodshed to mind. It also implies that the target has no choice.

Words are powerful. Choose them carefully.

nice vid though i think it feels short

while i agree the shorter version may get more views i feel a longer version would be nice and maybey leave more of an impact on certain types people
