A New Jersey assemblyman wants a new law to govern the regulations regarding the production of reality television in his state -- and it's been dubbed the Snookiville Law.

Named, of course, for the Snooki of Jersey Shore fame, the bill is meant to "act in the interest of taxpayers and public safety during the filming of reality television shows.” Specifically, it would allow local government to spell out the conditions of filming something like Snooki's beloved TV series. For example, those cops who show up when Snooki and her gang are causing bar fights don't work for free, and this bill would protect the state from absorbing costs such as that.

They just want a cut of the money. As if they don't respond to fights at the shore anyway. Granted, these shows are sometimes scripted to make fights start.... but that's really real life too. Some people are shit starters and do it for their own amusement. I would call "Mike" that on the Jersey Shore. He would be starting shit in real life without cameras, I assume. But with cameras and producers feeding him ideas, he must have been having a ball. Some people are like real life trolls. I even have a friend who likes to run me off the rails now and then. And he sometimes does it while I know he's doing it. He doesn't get me in physical fights or anything, but trolls me for his own enjoyment.

In before someone tells Money he needs new friends :)

haha. He's actually one of the best friends I'll ever have. It is a very small dark side to an otherwise caring and giving person/personality. I do it to him sometimes now, and he's way easier than I am. :D

That'd be a safe bet. :) Hell, I troll my wife regularly.

haha. Then you see exactly what I'm saying.

But those people who start shit, tell lies, get people into physical fights... they're a whole different league and there are some of them out there, whether on a reality tv show or not. NJ police still show up for those fights too.
